Do you find it sweet when the one you love is singing for you?

My partner is a musician and a singer/songwriter. Two years ago he wrote a song specifically about me, for me. He plans to sing the song at our wedding in May and I will be so proud of him. He's so talented and I feel happy and honoured that he sings for me.

No way! This is my ultimate wish I I'd be given the chance to be in a relationship. Hearing a song from our loved one is emotionally victorious, triumphant and exceptional. It would be very unforgivable if I am to pass this opportunity to listen closely from word to another from the song. I have to admit it. I am easily likened to a person who has the ability to sing, the ability to keep my heart kicking. I am a reserved person, you know. I do not usually give appreciation to what deserves it. But if this situation would ever come across in my life, I will cry a river to manifest how grateful I am.

That is a very sweet gesture and anybody who would be in your position would really feel honored. In my case, my husband used to sing for me when he was courting me. He would sing even in mobile phone as were distant from each other. He got a very good voice and can play the guitar real well. He doesn't do that very often nowadays hmmmmm. I should request him again hehe.

I will always love that way to express love to someone you love. Sing a beautiful song and it is really amazing feeling. When one song for me I will definitely be very much impress and it will really give me a warm feeling. How nice it is to smile while singing. If we would do this in our families, there would always be peace. This is what peace is: someone who sing for you. I like listening to music. Even my partner sing for me occasionally although he is not a singer but while he sings, its a great feeling..I love watching him singing a song and enjoy it too...

My husband seldom sings to me. But he has a nice voice. I would love to hear him sing to me. But what I enjoy most is when my youngest daughter sings. She looks so cute.

My spouse sings very well. His voice is between Tom Jones and Elton John. I fell in love with him because of his voice and his singing talent. He often sing my favorite song 'Something about the way you look tonight' which can really make me shed tears of happiness whenever I hear him singing this song. Felling in love with a person for the wrong reason is a disaster. This is one thing I realize in my marriage cos we are miles apart in our interests and mentality. Many things we can't see on eye level.

Oh gosh, that is one of my weaknesses. I love music and I feel that one can fall in love with someone because of their good singing voice. Kinda like how Prince Eric fell for Ariel's beautiful voice in the Little Mermaid. Of course, I do know the reality and though it might be nice hearing someone sing all day, still it's just a plus for me and not the very reason that Im going to be with someone. If he doesnt have a great voice, then that's okay. I do have to be honest and say that it would be quite magical if we can sing together, even if I dont have a good singing voice.

oh yes of course, I remember that romantic moment when I proposed to my exgf, ahmm I sung her favorite song in our prom night, and that's it, she said yes to me, ahaha

I think that it is very endearing when the person that you love feels comfortable enough with you to be able to sing in front of you. My husband has never sang for me, but that is because he doesn't feel like he has a good singing voice. I, on the other hand to sing for him and I think that there are times that I do it too often and it gets on his nerves. Of course, I think a big part of the reason for this is the fact that my choice in music and his are quite different.

it is a great feeling when some one sings for you. my special man also sings for me, actually every time when i am sad, or upset, or when he just wants to stop when we are fighting with each other... i really find this very touching whenever he sings for me water comes out of my eyes and due to this gesture i start falling in love again

It's so sweet of a boy to sing for his girlfriend!And i don't care much if he doesn't have a good voice,but still it would be more awesome if he really has a sweet voice:)But anyway,for me,even if he is not a good singer,i would still like it so much when the one i love sings for me,especially when it's my favourite love songs!

the first time i met my wife, i can't remember feeling something. but on the following day, i guess, i felt something i cannot explain. maybe the first time, it was night time and i came from the long trip from the city and been stormed along the way to the province where they live. the following day, i think i saw her so beautiful in daylight, strange feelings. on that day, we had a party because that was their town fiesta so we had foods and drinks. they live along the beach and we had a lot of talks there, stories of her and mine, our past, our past relationships. as the day go by, i feel like singing a song for her. she thought i made that song for her, at that time. i don't know, but with that song, we became closer, and became lovers, and now, we are still together. isn't that sweet?

I love it when my husband sings for me. He is not a good singer, but I like it when he sings. I don't think he will sing for anybody else. I like to listen to his songs, but at first he was too shy to sing. I am very poor at singing and I won't even try siging in bathroom. My husband has to really beg for me to sing. He always plays songs for me and sing along with that.

Well it the thought that counts. However, this more applies to things. If my partner wants to sing for me, fine, as long as she has a good voice. A good voice in a sense that she can hit each melody without getting off track. But if its worse than that then i'll say thank you and tell her to stop since she would not only annoy those who are listening but she could only make a fool of herself.

Yes! I'm not a singer myself, so I would appreciate and find it sweet if my special someone sings for me. And he actually did! During our first monthsary, he surprised me by making me walk on a red carpet, with his friends handing me roses until they led me to him. I saw him in the end, sitting on a stool, with a guitar, and started singing "crazy for you". it's the first and sweetest gesture my boyfriend did for me

Yesss... I always enjoy being sang for. There are nights when I act like a lil pup pleading my wife to sing for me so I could sleep. And she would. And I would be asleep in no time. I really bad in that department. I can never hit a perfect tune. It's always a disaster. My wife though has a very good singing voice, plus the fact that her voice is like angels to my ears. LOLZ.
