Do you in favor putting your child in the daycare, even its only 1-2 weeks old?

I know that there will come a day when I have a baby and chances are they'll have to be in daycare. I do want to stay home and be a housewife and stay with the children, but, in all reality, I probably won't be able to do that until my third or fourth child if even then, depending on my husband's work status. It's hard, putting your child in daycare right after they're born, but if that's what you have to do then that's what you have to do. It comes down to being able to work to afford to give them everything they might need or want to being able to stay home with them. I do hope, though, that when I get off my maternity leave I'll be able to leave my child with family rather than a daycare because I have family that has already volunteered to babysit and I prefer to leave my children with them rather than strangers, but still. It's a hard choice to make, but it's a choice that every parent has to make at some point. Sometimes it just can't be helped and there's not really any way around it.
