With so many movies being remade and/or done in 3D, I was just wondering if I could see a movie redone, which one would it be. Well, I thought of the one movie that I loved growing up, one that I think would make an AWESOME 3D movie. The movie I would love to see remade? The Wizard of Oz!!! Do you have a movie that you would love to see remade?

My girlfriend and I are planning on taking our friend to the new Alice in Wonderland remake at an I-max theater so I think it would be in 3-D. Either way it would be really cool. I can't really think of any other remakes that would be all that cool. The Wizard of Oz would be pretty awesome too.

In 3D, hmmm...I guess it would be Bedknobs and Broomsticks. That is one cool movie. Angela Lansbury was the main lead female. Have you ever seen it? Live action and animation as well as I've ever seen it done. Even if it was a fairly long time ago. Now that this discussion reminded me of, I really want to rent it!

I remember my parents taking me we saw it at a drive-in. For all the young kids reading this drive-ins are now very large swap meets.LOL

I want the follwing classic movies to be remade:
Gone with the Wind
Casablanca
Citizen Kane
Ben Hur
These films are often on the top list of the greatest films of all time. But since I was not born yet during the showing of these films, I would be glad if they would be remade.

How about a re-tooled captain America? Almost all superhero movies have updated their costumes with the modern times. I would like to see what Captain America's upgrade would be. Of course he would still have the red, white, and blues, but it'll be fun to modernize it.
And how about his shield? Would it still work in this technology age?
Or is there a movie already in the works?

Re-makes really don't interest me. when I see a movie that I like, I prefer it in its original form. same with sequels with different actors playing the same part, like James Bond. I'm only interested in Sean Connery, as James Bond. I say "don't change a good thing." If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm not a fan of remakes, and I've yet to see a 3D movie, but that may change if I can't find a 2D version of Alice.
Still, if they made a more honest version of the Wizard (sans music or at least with NEW music) I would love to see that!
Then again, I a MAJOR Oz freak!

I wouldnt like to see a remake of any movie in 3D as it is a technology that would be most suited have custom movie around it.
Otherwise there are a few movies which havea great action sequence and hence would loko simple great on 3D
even Harry potter movies wiht all the extravagnet set wouldlook cool on 3d

No, i don't . I don't think i would care for the new 3d at all. I don't go to the movies anymore. I'm content to be home watching tv. That's what happens when u get old, lol.

I watch alot of news. It may be bad things happening but it is what is going on in the world & i think everyome should face the reality of that. I am picky about what i watch. I do not watch teen drama i'm a little too old for such things as that. I don't watch the reality shows, as for the commercials that's what pays for us to have a tv. I like sports especially if it's Tennessee teams playing.

I don't watch tv at all really, it's too much for me, the news always about bad things, teen dramas, and cheap series, not to mention the annoying commercials.
I'm curious what appeals to you about television now a days ?

Ya, The Wizard of Oz in 3D! Wow! For me the vintage ,or 'retro' as they call them now I guess, ones I truly like better than any thing they could redo. I guess it would like a Star Wars or one of those Sci-fi or heavy action that was done back when they didn't have that great technology. How could they redo say Cleopatra that could possibly out due the one Elizabeth Taylor was in? Something like that!

I heard on the radio just this morning that there are plans of a Wizard of Oz remake in 3D, so there you are, I hope it eventuates because it is one I would love to see. What about Mary Poppins, has that one been made into 3D yet? I loved that movie as a kid and my daughter loves it and we have it on DVD; she must have watched it a hundred times! I think it would be a good one to see in 3D although I don't know how difficult it would be to find a replacement for Julie Andrews!

I really don't know, to be honest. Truthfully, I think I'd say there's not ANY movie I'd like to see remade. I'm so sick and tired of remakes I couldn't possibly think of one I'd like to see.
I hear they're making remakes to movies I love such as Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Clue though.

I would love to see a remake of like the Laberynth. I think Johnny Depp would make a great Goblin King, and maybe someone like Mylie Cyrus as the young girl in the movie. I would love to see how things could be done diffrently with the special effects technology we have today.

It would be a hard decision if I weren't such an avid fan and collector of 80's my little ponies. It would be awesome to have the my little pony movie remade in 3D.
I'm not sure if it would make a good 3D movie though, but it would be my first choice for a remake because I collect them and would love to see how the movie would look in 3D. Also, 3D movies of musicals might have some lovely effects aswell.
