TRICk...!!
You apply tricks to write source codes..and not in learning...
When i was learning C++, i encountered several terms such as the five features of C++(Dada Abstraction, Encapsulation..bla bla)..i thought why the heck am i learning it...
But when i learnt all this i had to make a small program on bank simulation...while programming i learnt and used these features...if felt so easy to communicate with my partner regarding the source code....
So just read and program...it will benefit you when you try its application...

Base on my experiences, first of all you must have a high knowledge of programming algorithm. if you know well about that you can learn step by step and the most important thing you must have a lot of exercises, download tutorial for dummies i think that's a good idea
