T G I F What are you doing at the weekend have you anything to look forward to?

March 12, 2010 7:07am CST
I've spent most of this morning mooching around the house, trying to get some jobs done, fooling around with Moomin the Mad Moggie, watching the torrential rain beating against the windows, watched a little bit of some old Buffy on television, just not able to concentrate on any one thing at all. If feel restless but also lifeless today. The apathy factor has hit the ceiling and I truly can't be bothered to get up and do *stuff*. It feels like my whole week has been like this, knowing I need to be getting on with jobs around the house but still feeling *meh* I'm hoping that the weather over the weekend will be better so my partner and I can go out for a while, get some sunshine and fresh air. I'm hoping we might be able to go to the rock club tomorrow night (no I won't go overboard with the dancing this time- lol) and maybe we might even go to the movies. I'd like to go visiting some friends, or maybe just out for a drive in the countryside, possibly have lunch somewhere if we can afford to. Anything to get out of the house that has felt a lot like a prison this week. Are you doing anything special this weekend? What are you looking forward to?

its not pay day weekend, so we'll probably be just hanging around the house, maybe I can get some good mylotting done and washing clothes - may be some sewing

My weekends are all the same lovely goth lady. The same as my weekdays. My activity level is alarmingly low. Make sure you keep dancing and doing anything else at least daily because if you stop as you get older, you lose the ability. Keep doing as much as you can for as long as you can. I do know how you feel. Be thankful for you darling man and that you have the ability to do what you can do. My apathy has made my body grow old before my time.

I work in retail so unfortunately weekends aren't really that special. I rarely get to have weekends off. That being said, first time in a while, I do have tomorrow - saturday - off & I'm working from 8 - 5 today. I'm thinking about spending rest of the day after work at home today with family, possibly go out to dinner & movies. I'm thinking about calling up a friend & hanging out with him tomorrow.

I will be messing about with photographs as we have a large collection of ancient negatives and want to print some off. I will also be going to the shop for my beloved chocolate. We most probably will run on Sunday.

This weekend will be a quiet and boring one for me. I think I will just have dinner with friends on Saturday. Then Sunday will be spent hanging out with family and some relatives at home. No major outings or parties planned for me this weekend. It is okay with me. I also miss having a quiet weekend relaxing at home.

Sorry you feel so blah, I think it has to do with the weather. Im looking forward to a drive to my accountant for my income tax YUK. Then do the groceries, grab something to eat at the restaurant as Saturdays are my cook-free night. Then I'll probably have a nice bath and watch a few movies. On Sunday, I'll do some cooking, bake some bread and if I have the time, some pasta also. Im not working next week, so I'll be able to do all I have to during the week......hopefully!!
