No i did not buy iphone even if it cames out the new version called 3gs!!In general i think iphone is good looking phone but for features it did not impressed me much!!I think the positive apsects on this device is the multitouch and a good graphic but as regards other features i consider too normal phone to spend so much money for functionalities that other phones have it too or have it better!!

Yes the problem is i don't want pay for applications that for other os are free or opensource and considering that i pay iphone 3g so much money i think is real strange to continue spend money for appl, expensive plans etc..when other brands will give you features as basic and not if you pay money, money money for lincesed contents which they should be free because you knwo iphone is really expensive phone so it is just a trend...

Few years back, I used to work for a company that sold cell phones. Since then, I've gotten another job. About 3 years ago, because of the change of position in my job, I had to get a smart phone that had an access to internet & emails. Around that summer was when the first I-Phone came out. I've already gotten blackberry pearl 8120 then. I still had few friends who worked in cell phone industry & one of them let me borrow his I-Phone for a week while he was on vacation over seas. I hated it. It felt cheap in my hand & didn't like the sound quality of the phone, not to mention constantly dropped calls. I knew it wasn't AT&T's coverage issue because a person standing right next me with regular flip phone on AT&T network didn't have problem with his call dropping. About a year later, my pearl was acting up a little so I called the same friend who lent me borrow his first iphone. There was a technician working in his store. For 4 days I had my phone in his store getting fixed, he was so backed up & 75% of his work load was related to i-phone issues. He lended his 3G version. He's manager of the store & he gets "store model" phones, which were active. New & improved version. I figured I 1 bad experience with the phone really can't be the whole story so I thought I give it a try & if I liked it, I was gonna get one. 3G version was worse than the first one. I couldn't hold a 5 minute conversation without wanting to throw it under my car & running it over & over. Plus the battery life sucks on it. My job heavily depends on the phone & I'm constantly on it. The fact that I couldn't swap out the battery was really bad for me. I used to carry around a spear so I didn't have to be tied down to my desk or towards the end of the day, I don't have to make a report tied to my car lighter adopter. Most of the apps that they are so proud of was completely useless to me. Over past Christmas, 12.23.09 - 01.01.10, I've used 3Gs version & no improvement what so ever. In past 3 years, I've considered going over to AT&T but I-Phone actually ruined it for me. Soely because of an I-Phone, I have a bad taste with AT&T. Don't get me wrong, I love Apple products & I have ipod 160gig myself. I think I-Phone was a dud to put it nicely...

I have never used the iphone, nor have I ever owned one. I am with a different carrier, sol having the iphone is out of the question. I like the looks of the iphone, but not sure if I would ever have one even if I was with AT&T. I certainly wouldn't switch carriers just to have it, that is for sure. I think the droid phone would be better than the iphone. My daughter has one, and she loves it. Hers is the HTC one but there is also one for Mootorola as well. I have seen both phones, but I don't have either one of them, as mine is a windows mobile phone, and it is a very good phone, at least for me it is. The only drawback I can see with it, I have to push some on the touch screen to get what I am wanting, as it is a resistive touch screen, whereas the capacitive is very light to the touch. Anyway, that really isnt'a ll that crucial as it does everything I need fro it to, and I really like it. I can post here with it, and I have started a discussion, posted comments, and responses with it. It is the first phone I have been able to do that with. I do that primarily when I am not at home, as i am babysitting all week, so I take it with me so I can be here and the other sites I am doing. Anyway, not sure I would ever have an iphone. I do have the ipod touch, so I don't need the iphone, and I don't use it everyday, but I do use it, and it is just like the iphone except it doesn't have a camera, mic, and I can't call on it. I do like the fact though it has lots of apps, but that is teh only positive thing about it as like the other user said, the battery life in it is horrible. That is the biggest drawback of all I think. Lots of people like the iphone though, but I think it is losing popularity since the droid has come out. Take care and have a very good day.
