I'm a migraine sufferer and everytime it hits me I drink a cup or two of asian green tea. The brand I have is "The Vert". I've heard that it's the mother of all green tea. The caffeine in green tea relieves the blood contraction in our vascular muscles. I'm a living proof of this and it really works. It only takes 20 minutes for the migraine to go away after drinking green tea. English green tea is not good enough...gotta get the one made in china. The other thing is you have to know your trigger foods. Mine are peanuts, cashew nuts, avocado, gum and anything with sugar free. They all trigger my migraine so I stay away from them. Goodluck and hope you feel better.

www.home-remedies-for-you.com go to the left hand side and scroll down to migraine they have a number of things to help. i have a friend who swears by drinking 2 cups of coffee when the onset first comes on, it constricts the blood flow to the blood vessels lessening that pounding pain....

you might be surprised that the best remedy for migraine is water... just drink plenty of water and the migraine attacks go away. i also suffer from migraine..and when i have it, it lasts for 3 days in a row! i vomit, couldn't go out, even the lights in the house makes me reel! and one of my friends told me all i needed was just water... and true enough, water it is! ofcourse there are migraine triggers...try not to overdose on it too. i hope you give it a shot, though. and stay away from stressful situations... goodluck!
