Are you kidding? I come from the Philippines unofficially declared as the texting capital of the world!Record shows that Filipinos send not less than a billion text messages daily. Being the cheapest and fastest way of communicating, it seems that everybody here is addicted to mobile phones. Even the lowly farmer, rig driver or janitor all have cell phones. I just can't see how we all manuever ourselves on the streets and not bumping on one another while texting. Well seriously, I guess cell phones and text messages are the considered technological marvels where we now can easily get in touch with just anybody - family, friends, business associates, etc.

I text my loved ones all the time. I text mom throughout the day, my boyfriend throughout the day til we get to talk to each other other. I text my pastor from time to time and random friends when I am thinking about them. But I do text all the time.

I usually don't like to text or even email people. I'd rather talk in person or talk on the phone. Messagings seem so impersonal to me for some reason. Most of the messagings I get or I send out are work related. I still use it for personal purpose but not as much as some people. That being said, I usually call my mother & my sister once a week.

I am one of those people who text every single day too. I don't have close relations with my "family", but I text and receive texts from my friends. I also receive a lot of them too. I'm good at texting and I find grat joy in it. I can speend hours just texting all day long if I wanted to.

hell0 fianne! I never text my beloved ones/family, because my parents have a many "free" minutes with their subscription phone cards/SIM and they call me every day, so i really don't have to text them. I can also talk with my sister because she also have many minutes and too, so there is no problem to call her or she call me every day!

I used to text my daughter a lot, but we just talk now instead of texting. We do send pics back and forth and maybe text a little after wards, but it isn't much. Since I don't text as much as I used to, I changed my phone, as I didn't need a qwerty keyboard. It does have an on screen keyboard so I can text with it, and it works great. My best friend will text me once in awhile, but then not that much with her either. Take care, and have a very good day.

Currently, I do not use texting too much on my phone. Only when necessary and that is sad becuase I have the unlimited text plan on my phone. I guess when I get my new phone here in a month or so and can upgrade to a phone with a full keyboard then I will text more. The only people I really text with are my children, since they can not recieve calls while at school. This way I am able to send them a message and they are able to read it between classes or while they are at lunch.
