last season before sell to Madrid, christian ronaldo can score untill 46 goals(if iam not wrong in all competition for MU). do you believe this year, rooney can beat ronaldo score? how much goals rooney can score this years?

Hi adhyz There is still plenty of time to make it to 46. If im not mistaken Rooney has scored 30 goals. There still time for him to make this 16 goals. I think he could beat ronaldo.

not 46 my friends.only 42 goals from ronaldo. so rooney still needs only 12 goals to make same goal with ronaldo.

Oh its only 12 goals. There is sitll plenty of time for him to do it. If he doesnt suffer any injury then surely rooney will beat ronaldo

ya, only 12 goals.so maybe it`s great motivations not only for rooney but his team mate to helps rooney got the private records and helps club to win premiere league this season

I think Rooney has a very good chance. Especially given that he has crossed the 30 mark already with important part of the season still remaining. I think Rooney has added to his arsenal by starting to score with his head. In fact, the last 7-8 of his goals all have been headed ones. I actually would love to see him beat Ronaldo's record. Hi adhyz, Cristiano Ronaldo score 42 goal in a season but not last season. Its happen 2 season ago. With 30 goals already scored, I believe Rooney can beat Cristiano Ronaldo record this season. He is currently at his top conditions and can unstoppable. Bar any injuries or match ban, Rooney still have 9 premier league and at least 2 Champion League games to play. With his current goals score per game play record, I believe he could reach 45 goals or more this season. He is at his peak and it is hard to stop him.

ya, only 42 goals, thanks for correction.so rooney only fear injury you know.its still many games ( i forgot the amount). but if he can keep his performance like match Milan, we can know he can beat the ronaldo goal

Let's just hope he comes back in the form before he got injured... things aren't looking good though... Man Utd could be out of the Champions League and therefore Rooney would have fewer games to play in, and if Man Utd's form dips then Rooney himself would have a tougher time trying to score... frustration equals loss of form. Right now, I cannot see Rooney scoring 16 goals... how many games do Man Utd have left this season?
