This 'Mania officially put us in the "Attitude Era". There are a few very good matches on this card, including Undertaker vs Kane and Terry Funk. Mick Foley vs. Billy Gunn/Road Dogg. The top match for me however goes to Steve Austin challenging Shawn Michaels for the WWE Title. What about you?

I am a fan of the attitude era since that is when I grew up in. This is when I started to get into wrestling they were getting into the attitude era. Kane and Undertaker no doubt had a dominating match however my favourite would be Shawn Michaels vs Stone Cold Steve Austin that night. One great match from two awesome competitors.

Let me just say that I am not the biggest fan of the Attitude Era of WWE. It was fun while it happened, but a lot of it just does not hold up today. Mostly from 1998-1999 to be honest with you. With that in mind, Wrestlemania 14 was in fact a good show and one of the better manias. It was a show that really does not get mentioned all that much when you think of classic manias. So the best match, yeah I would have go with Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin. Austin's rise to the top that began one year earlier at Wrestlemania 13 culminated right here with his capturing of the championship. Plus, I really have go take my hat off to Shawn Michaels. The guy was hurting with a bad back, yet he gutted it out and had a great match against Austin. I also enjoyed the Terry Funk and Cactus Jack match against the New Age Outlaws in a Dumpster Match for the Tag Team Titles. This was a fun brawl. I always enjoyed the Outlaws as a tag team. They were one of those things where the two parts added together were so much better than the two parts on their own. This was about as good as could be expected and just underneath the Michaels/Austin match as quality.
