This Cold Weather!!

It sure has!! My furnace broke and I was dependent upon just a buck stove fireplace that has a blower that saved me but yikes it was awful! I am more than ready for springtime. I won't even mind the spring forward that much since it means the longer days are coming! Be well.

I also ove it when the spring weather and sun comes back again. There are buttercups bloomed everywhere now. People already raking their leaves and planting new flowers and bushes. Underground, I mean. We have pretty mild winters here, so even those this was the worst supposedly in 15 years, it was still mild as far as I'm concerned cause I was raised in Chicago and I'm far away from there now.

Actually, up here in the northwest, it has been a mild winter. It snowed on the first week of december and it quickly melted after 2 or 3 days. Then that was it. It was cold, but it stayed above freezing for the longest time. It was even sunny and reached 50 degrees in mid Feb. The funny thing is, although it is almost spring, I heard that it snowed at places with high elevations near here. But yes, I'm ready for spring!

Yes, I am glad to see it leaving. I live in Alabama and it was really cold here this winter also. We even saw snow a couple of times where there was a couple of inches on the ground which is unusual. The last couple of days though have been very nice and I can't wait to see some more of it!
