why do women talk so much!!!

I think it's because females are taught to be more communicative and open, about everything, then men are. Other than that guess I couldn't tell you.. I don't speak very often myself. I probably write more on Textbroker and Mylot in 20 minutes than I speak during an entire month. My male roommate, on the other hand, NEVER shuts up and it's very annoying xD

I think there are alot of men out there that also will not stop talking aswell as there are both sexes that seem to talk non stop for ages aswell as they go on about aload of rubbish.I have noticed that when ever i am in a pub the men are alot than women as they seem to talk all night where as a woman will sit and listen and then talk,men rarely listen.

Ahh, a woman after my own heart. While I do like to talk sometimes, I sincerely cant go rambling on for hours about nothing in particular. I dont talk about fashion, not interested in what happened on the soaps or what the girl down the street was wearing, so why can't some women just stop talking all day.

ksmita yes it does sou nd strange but to e ach his o wn. thats your right. I think we do talk more as we are a lot more open and more giving to each other as women than men do. we care , share and empathize with each other, I can talk up a storm with my best friend and with strangers I am quiet and reserved. but I hate women who cannot talk at all and just look at you with a scowl. I think this shows emotional problems my self. this is a second rendition as I went to add emoticons and mylot zipped me off into the ionosphere. my response was totally gone. so this is the second best and best I can do now.

Women usually talk alot because they are more open. It also depends on the brains between the sexes, women tend to be more emotional and nurturing than men. While men like to hang out and stuff, they communicate with their hands and actions. Women will communicate with their emotions and words. It's also because they like voicing their opinions, I know I do!
