Need some ideas to start an online magazine!

Well, i'm planning to start an online magazine on my own. I want to start something based on fashion, photography, art & craft, home interiors and photography. All the magazines i have seen related to all these areas are almost covering the same stuff, interviews of all hot shot personalities, fashion trends of highly reputed designers, same bollywood gossips and i think it makes no sense covering all this! But yes in India, magazines on art and craft are very less in number which is a good point. I want to cover a totally different prospect of these areas, may be covering those artists who are not so well known but there work is amazing. I want to start something which is away from all the big brands, something very local and new.. Please give your feedback and ideas if any!!

I suggest that you try broadening your scope. I mean instead of focusing in India, why don't you focus on Indians that are located around the world. I'm actually suggesting an ONLINE COOKING MAGAZINE. I'm located in the Philippines and have been working alongside Indian nationals for the past year and noted that their biggest challenge is FOOD; where to eat, what to eat, what to cook given the local ingredients and still adhering to religious beliefs.
On that note you can create your mock magazine covers on this site: http://covervision.com. You know, like the ones posted by online magazine on their site to promote published issues.
