True, it is the rope of support to climb towards the success.

in my opinion ,confident and hard working are same important,if you lost confident for something,you won't work hard for it

i think it is important too..without your confident plus determination i dont you can accomplish such work.

Many says that what drives a person to believe that he or she can succeed is his/her self-confidence. It's usually specific to particular tasks, but some people seem to display it on a wide range of activities. In sport particularly you need this to perform well. Therefore I believe that having self confidence is important also other than just being a hard worker. It only gets bad when your being overconfident or cocky.

To be successful, one needs to first define the goal and then pursue the goal with confidence and sincerity which takes care of hard work and smart works ! :)
