Now more than ever, women are working outside the home and traditional duties such as taking care of the children and the house have been shifted or redistributed between men and women. And now I want to discuss the topic with you! What kind of changes do you imagine by the year 2050?

In my home country females generally get good qualifications and study well at school. Many of us go on the college and university. I studied to become a primary school teacher. Some ladies that have children stay at home to care for them. I imagine by 2050 that most ladies would be working and children would go to day care at their mother's place of work. I think that the age for going to school might become by 2050 from age 5 to age 15. Then I imagine people would retire at age 70 years old.

I don't think time changes people that fast. I mean, I could well remember my grandmother as telling me that her mom was already doing business while they were young. Therefore, it's not only of today that women have already been joining the workforce. I think what's really forcing the issue is the fact that we're all working too hard to achieve something (mostly materialistic things) because we fail to see what's necessary. Or if we do, we're forced to do so because of the demands of our times. I mean, I don't think there are many women who'd rather work than be a mom, and I doubt there are a lot of men who's rather stay at home should there be an opportunity for them to provide for their families, right? I think it's how society has become that forces men and women to adjust to the changes of time. For the year 2050, I doubt things would be different as how it is today. But for sure, there would be lots of people who would either be environmentally conscious (should that be proven) or evolve into people who lesser conscious about material stuff. Otherwise, I'd probably think that it'll be almost the same as how things are today. Except that there would be a lot of people in society who won't be their gender today. If you know what I mean.
