Soulmates

One could never achieve anything more than to be with a soulmate. Someone who is there with you for life. Now alot can be said about soulmates and only so much can be true. In short, my opinion, a soulmate is truly your dreamlover. However, that is only in my experience. A soulmate does not have to be your lover of course. A soulmate can be your mother, sister, brother, cousin, friend...etc life goes on. lol. But the way I experienced it was through my soulmate. Now, sometimes when we meet our soulmates, we may already be in a relationship. Spiritually, you are with your current partner and not your soulmate because there are still lessons to be taught and learned. Which is what I discovered. I met my soulmate ten years ago. But I would never have known he was my soulmate till a few years later. Although at intervals I felt a connection with him. We, what would one say lol, hooked up! But it was like a friendship. We had no physical contact, and hardly any contact. What we did have, however, was a connection. We could speak without words. We just knew what the other was thinking and feeling. To me, it felt so unreal and incredible. Even if he didn't say it, my soulmate felt the same way and I could feel this with him. I am not with my soulmate at this time. But at times I can feel when he needs to speak to me, or when he is upset, anything. It is something one would not believe unless one experienced this for themselves. If you would like to know anything about a soulmate connection, you are most welcome to ask any questions you might have. I will answer them the best I can. I thought I would send in a short discussion on soulmates for anyone who might be interested in the True soulmate connection!!

I saw the topic and thought OOOOOOOOOOH I have to answer! Then I read your post and realized that it's relatively the same thoughts I have. But I would like to add something that I heard in a great movie once, and it seems to be very true. "A soulmate is a person who challenges you" - To meet your potential, then to rise and excel beyond. I also believe that a soulmate will be BRUTALLY honest with you, even if it means not speaking for weeks, months, or years at a time...They will do what it takes to get the message across about proper train of thought and proper living, even if it means leaving to get the point across. Just my opinion though :)

I think I somewhat or generally agree with your description of a soulmate. So how do I tell if a person is actually a soul mate or what? Other than the intuitive feelings that come along upon meeting that person or whenever being together with that person, any other signs that surely tells this person is one of my soul mates? I also believe a person could have more than one soul mate in a lifetime.

You share everything. Dreams, needs, wants, desires. Anything that co-incides with what you do. It's like staring into a mirror of yourself. I hope that was of any help to you.
