Today I noticed that when you open a new tab it opens next to the tab you're using. I find that annoying and i turned this feature off. For those who want to do that here's how: in the url line type about:config and press enter. Than click i'll be careful and find browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent and set it to false. That's it hope it helps. Is there anyone who prefers the new tab opening and why?

Thanks, that is something I really want to do too. I really get disturbed either with that new tabs since usually I opened a tabs to open organized websites as I want. I'm not just doing it for fun, Its just like that I have a priority level for each tab, for what website I opened the first tab, the second and so on. And it ruined by that feature.

Maybe the developers should consider to let user make decision if they want it to open this or the other way. Simply implement it into options in firefox. Have any one of you tried if it is managable in Firefox 4.0 beta or... Responses will be appreciated.
