Heater or Radio.

I've been having trouble with my car lately so, I decided to have my brother-n-law (the mechanic), check it out. As he started telling me about my battery, alternator, blah, blah, blah, I faded out. But the bottom line was that I needed to stop turning on so, many things inside the car, just until I could have it worked on. So, one morning, as I sat in the auto to leave, I wondered which one do I want to turn on, my radio or my heater. Because it was cold outside, my first thought went to my heater. But I wasn't going to far so, I decided that it would be my radio. The music would make me forget about the chill. Then, I got to wondering what would someone else choose. So, what would be your choice?

Definately the radio. I don't mind the cold at all. No one wants to ride somewhere in silence. TATA.

Hi, Robinlynn!
I'd definitely choose the heater and bring along a portable radio or CD player. I'd hate to be without my music or news, but not as much as I'd hate to be cold!

If it was a short trip and it wasn't too cold, I would choose the radio too. I live in Florida so my choice would more likely be the air conditioner or the radio but I think I would use the same criteria for that decision, too. On a longer trip I would definitely choose comfort over tunes.
