Stay friends...?

It hurts me a lot when a friend seems to start breaking a friendship.
I am friends with this guy. Unfortunately, he has got into trouble with another friend of mine (and then another one).
I have been trying to reach out to him because I want to help them settle it.But he hasn't responded for the last 3 months now. My birthday is fast approaching, and it really breaks my heart seeing friendship sink just because he is not going along well with our common friends.
The reason is something that I'd prefer not to talk about. Anyway, I am not part of it.
I want to stay friends with him. But since he is not replying, I feel like he wants me to stop contacting him.
I don't know what to do about it.

The matter now is to know how your friend see you. How he value your relationship. It is not worth it to try save your friendship with him if he didn't want it. Its more important for you to carry on and live with the friend that really care. Remember, there are millions of friends that you can find, but just a few that really that you can count on.
Rather leave him alone for a while. Don't contact him, he must get over whatever happened on his own. When he is ready, he will come back again. If not, you will know the answer. TATA.
