It's true Firefox is faster than IE?

I don't know how but I think it is. Can someone explain this?

firefox is the best out there not only coz of its speed but also because of extensions like greasemonkey, add-blocker etc you can also easily customize the skin on Firefox

i am not sure,but i use firefox as my default browser.if u talk about speed,i think neither is satisfy to me.i will chose Safari,but it is not supported by many Plug-in and i am used to use firefox before.firefox is good,u can also try chrome,i supposed it is fine although i dont have used it.

For me firefox is a lot more stable sometimes then IE. I don't really like IE in general, but sometimes it'll run slower then Firefox, sometimes its faster. It depends on my connection speed at the time. Since my computer is running fairly fast right now I'm not going to stop and complain.

It's simple... each web browser have it's own rendering engine, the engine of Internet explorer is so bad, and other browser engines are so much better, faster and efficient, like Opera (Engine=Presto) or Firefox (Engine=Gecko). I like Opera so much, it has a rendering engine very efficient, it's just amazing... Regards.
