Hello!
I would like to talk about this current public problem. In the world has a lot of smokers and non-smokers. I will be happy to say, that I am non-smoker. I think that smoking is a very big problem in this world. Because more, and more younger people starting to smoke. For example in my country this is a very big problem, because children who is only 10 or 11 years old is smoke. I have noticed this thing in my town, and I cooled that my friends is too smoking. I have tried smoking when, I was only 6 years old, but I did not like it. So I do not smoke.
And some questions:
Have you ever tried to smoke? How old were you?
What would you do if you find a cigarette pack, or now that your child smokes.
How to deal with this problem, because in nowadays younger children is smoke.

I don't smoke hopefully, my friends neither.
I really want to know why people start to smoke, is it because they saw someone who smoke so they want to try too, if it is that, they are very stupid and can be influenced very easily so it means they are weak for me.
It sad to see childrens already start to smoke at only 10, where goes the world! o_O

It is nice to hear that you, and your friends is not smoking. Yea I too don't smoke.
No people start smoke, because they want to be the popular people's group. And they think that it is feeding. Yes it is very sad to see little children who is smoking. This world going to end!

Hi ET28,
i think the best way to stop smoking is for the new generation to be empowered about the effects of it and how it will affect the entire environment and the earth as a whole. there is this issue of peer pressure. teens must be empowered that they are still IN even if they will not smoke and join their smokers friend. adult are so difficult to educate and realize the value of quitting smoking. i will focus on those who are not into it yet.

we are actually doing this in our adolescent reproductive health projects. we have a module on healthy lifesyle and smoking is one of it. we stress the negative consequences of smoking not only to the smokers but also to those people around them who are not smoking. advocacy must be strengthened and they must be empowered to manage peer pressure.

Well i dont have a smoking habit. And i tried it without liting haha.. I hate smoking rather, especially the smell. And i wonder why people find its a solution for enjoyment and stress release. They dont spoil their health, they cause chain smoking and pollute the environment!

I have not smoked in yrs. I ended up being allergic to it, and ended up in the Emergency room, etc. because of it. And to think I was a Stress smoker and only smoked when I was stressed. Yes, it is a very addicting habit and getting quite costly too. The only thing a person can do is try and teach their kids the safety of not smoking, and hope for the Best.

i think i will blame myself first if i find out that my young kid smokes. i blame myself because at teen, i was already a smoker and until now, i still smoke. and my kids can see me smoke. and maybe, they will only say that, they smoke because they see me smoke, so what's the problem?

I am a non-smoker, but out of curiosity, tried smoking once or twice. Happily I have not developed the habit.
I am particularly alarmed at the age when people started smoking. Most of them out of peer pressure or just to be in with the crowd. In the future they will try to quit one way or other without success. My friend recently quit cold turkey and already seen some results.
I would discourage smoking - period. My nephew refuses to smoke (thank god for that one) and will avoid his father's path to smoking.

I'm very proud that I'm non-smoker!!!
I'm 21 years old,so I don't have kids yet.
If my kids smoke,I think I will very angry, because smoking is bad ,it doesn't have any good thing,it waste money and hurt health!!!
I think the way to deal with this problem is the policy!!!!

I am not a smoker. But out of curiosity a few years ago, I tried once. Smoking sucks. For me,it doesn't taste good. Few of my friends are smoking. When asked why, they just simple say to relax and to ease satiety. But the time I was smoking, the two reasons didn't work for me; maybe unless one gets addicted.

I am not a smoker. However, few years ago I have tried smoking once out of curiosity. It didn't taste good. Few of my friends tell that smoking eases satiety and somehow provides. I don't know how true because it didn't when I tried;unless one gets addicted to it maybe.

smoking is bad. ever since i was a little kid i made it a point not to ever ever smoke. i live in a place full of smokers. my mom and dad smoke. even though i tried to warn them of the dangers of smoking, they just won't quit. so be it then. but i wouldn't be pressured by the mere fact that i am the only one not smoking. i just don't get why people smoke even though they know it's bad. if my children were to smoke, i will tell them straight to their faces that if they smoke, they will be grounded for the rest of their lives. :)

It is nice to hear your view about smoking. Sad to hear about your parents, sad that they did not want to quit. In my neighbors live one woman who too is non-smoker, but her husband, and two child's is smoking. Her child's have 21 years old, Themselves can decide what they want to do. People just can not quit of this habit. Grounded, maybe it works.

Hi Et28LV. I used to smoke up till ten years ago. I decided to stop after my wife's nagging and with the help of the family doctor who literally scared me. I knew that smoking is bad for my health besides the financial aspect. I had been smoking from 18 years to 30years old. So you can work out how old I am! If I get to know that my son smokes, I just give him a good lecture showing him the danger to his health but then it is up to him to do what he wants.

not smoke. This is the thing I evade to my lovers
last time. I prefer the one not smoking. I know that
smoking is so dangerous to our health and lifestyle.
Even though we just sniffing and enhale it, we are
the most affected to it for we siff much than smoker
they let it throw away.
I did not even tried it cause I hate my parents
