Do you like shoppinng just to shop or only when you have extra cash or occasions

My sister is a shopaholic... i mean that literally. she is out 6 days a week, she hits different stores in differnt cities all over the state. She is always finding awesome deals. she gets up and leaves as soon as her oldest leaves for school in the morning and is back home before he is off the bus. She always asks me to tag along but i seriously do not like to shop. UNLESS its income tax time or we received extra cash that we werent expecting if i have the extra money then i dont feel bad about spending it where she just shops and shops and shops. in a way i am jealous of her i guess becaues it would be nice to always have shopping money but at the same time i dont like shopping that much to wanna be out day after day to do so.

Thats exactly how i see it, depressing. I always seem to find the awesome deals when i am just tagging along with others an dont have the money myself, but of course when i go out when i do have the extra cash i cant find any good deals

Well shopping is fun all around, sometimes I like to window shop and learn what is new around. Still I would rather shop more so when I have money, after all it is a bit disappointing to shop and not take home anything if you have no money. NOw the kicker is to shop when you buy stuff you could resell and make money from.

thats what i also like to do, my mother owns her own business and after holidays i can find things real cheap usually when walmart or target do there 90% off clearnce holidy deals, ill pick up a bunch of stuff for her, shes getting it cheap and making a profit off it.. i have done that for myself for years now and i dont charge people high for them either if i am getting a $50 game for $5 i will sell it for $15-20 they saving money either way and i gettng a profit off it.

The only time i like to go shopping is when i have extra cash to go shopping with,but even then i rarely find things that i want or what i need.I would rather wait until there is something that i need rather than spend money for the sake of it as you never know when youi will need money for something.I do every now and again get a few gifts and put them away for christmas as that way when christmas gets here i have got a lot of the presents and do not have to shop around to find them.

Wow, I'm jealous with your discipline! I take after my mother who absolutely cannot go home while she still has money in her pocket. I think she's angry with money so she likes to part with it every time she has some in her hands. She can usually justify her purchases, even though she has just seen it minutes before buying it. Now, I see myself in the same cycle...

my mother is horriblw when it comes to shopping! we will go out and if she sees something anything on clearance or sale she will just buy it, its a good deal she will say what if i need it in the future? You would not believe the amount of boxes taking up a storage space FULL of NEW items that she bought just because they were on clearance!

I love to shop when I have money or when I know that money will be coming in so I use my credit card first.

i have been really good in the credit card department, we are fianlly putting ourselves on a budget and as far as credit cards go, we have paid them all off and cut them up! only keeping the lowes card for repairs for the house when it is a neccessity!
