How do you promote a 'new-born' Facebook page?

Today I have created a Facebook page for my blog but I have no clue what to do next to build my list of fans. I know that you can put a widget or a button on your site to invite your visitors to join, but I'm a bit reluctant to do that now, as at the moment, I've only got one fan - myself! I can't get fans if people don't subscribe but people wouldn't subscribe unless I have more fans. It's a bit of a vicious circle. How do I get around that? Any ideas?

Yeah, it is hard to get fans on a Facebook page contrary to Twitter, i think you have to put it in your blog/site even if there are not any fans yet, by putting it on your blog, there will be always a new member to suscribe and your fans will increase with the time.
If you have a Twitter account, you can tweet it and maybe your followers Twitter will become your Facebook fans.
