Whom do you always turn to when it comes to advice? Which do you prefer to do giving or asking for advice?

Hi Care,
i always consult with my husband for advise and inputs when i need to make a meajor decision. i always consider his say on things before making my final decision. being a counselor i provide options for my counselee for her or him to choose what he or she thinks will be the best one for him or her. the final decision is theirs.

Yeah, every counselor always listen and gives option they never give advice that's the best thing they could do and they should do that's why I always prefer to go to a counselor when I'm on trouble and don't know where to go. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

that's what i like in my job and in consulting other counselors too. we always provide options and let the person seeking for enlightenment decide for herself. in that way we are helping them assess what is the best one for them after hearing some inputs and information that will help them come up with a good decision.

Its generally good to take advice of elderly ones , who have better knowledge than we have of so. I generally take advice of my elder brother as he is the on e who helps me in all adverse conditions of so. Please do reply who ever reads as to whom is important for them.

Yeah, mostly older people were more knowledgeable and often come up with a better and good advice. However some people believe that the best person who can give a better and good advice is the one who's involve. Although it could be in case to case basis. It's all depends on the situations. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

yes you are right but the situations they were into and the situations you are into are different. they tell you the possible consequences of what you do or what you don't.
I feel its always good to listen to other advises but in the end do involve your decision too what you want of it.
Regards.

As a 60 year old man, I have accumulated a lot of experience in life. So I would say that I give more advice then I get or need. Though I'm not too proud to get advice on things that I know little or nothing at all. I'm always reading and talking to people so I learn a lot this way. So I would say that I give advice when I have something to share and take it when I can benefit from what others have to say. Of course, now with the internet it is so much easier to research any subject.

Yeah, nowadays with the used of high technology especially the internet it makes us a whole lot easier to find advice or answer to our questions. Although it's still different when you ask for someone who knows you and whom you believe that cares for you and you trust that person. Especially on very serious matter that needs a careful thoughts and considerations. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

Its good on your part of doing so. Close friends and family members in general way of so always help as they know of what we are to them in case of family members our elders are more experienced and have gained much knowledge than we do so.

It's always better to ask for advice from our close friends and family members because we know that they care for us and there's not personal interest regarding of the advice they could give.
Yeah, it's better to receive than to give advice because there are so many things that you have to consider and if things went wrong and your advice doesn't work somehow you'll be affected. But I think when it comes to giving advice it's important that the person involve should think about it and balance the situation in order to reach a good decision. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy the rest of the weekends!
