I just read an article that there is a high risk of a having a heart attack on the Tuesday following the Spring forward part of the daylight savings changes! They didn't say what the causes were but maybe it's stress related. After all I know that I feel off my game abit for the first few days when I feel like I "lost" an hour!
Also there was noted that there are a higher rate of auto accidents for the first week following the Spring forward and not the Fall back..sounds sleep related to me! What do you think?

Wow, that is so odd. Yeah I would think it was something to do with the sleep loss. I know when I lose my sleep I cant do anything right. Its very odd tho that people have heart attacks and car accidents that first week. I always wondered who thought to set back and forward the clocks.

I think daylight savings time goes all the way back to when the farmers needed their children to work the fields when they came home from school. At least that's the only reason I've ever heard for it. Might need to look it up!

It does sound sleep related. I think it can also be stress related because I'm always pretty nervous about the fact that I might over sleep and be kate for work. It takes me a while to get adjusted but I can see why it could cause a lot of worse problems.
