Manny Wins again, Clottey afraid to lay a punch....

Okay,
I just took a break from politics and decided to listen to the Boxing regarding Manny Pacquiao and Clottey Fight this afternoon. They were some video live streams but all of them got block out as the fight starts, so instead of looking eternally on television, i just decided to listen to the radio. my mom did liked it but she prefer to watch it herself, probably the late news..
AS i listen to the fight, it seems that the whole time clottey doesn't want to take a risk and keep defending himself from falling down. Clottey is bigger than Manny and yet he can only lay almost two punches and then back to the defense mode.
Am sure a lot of fans were disappointed because the fight was generall exciting but it turned out to be boring as Clottey only tries to survive it.
Congratulations to him. Mayweather? when are you gonna step uP?

Like what I wrote in two similar discussions, this bout was a complete waste of pay per view money. I think Clottey was the real winner in this one. His strategy before coming in was to be recognized for facing Manny, and not get knocked out. He did both! Congratulations to him.
Pacquiao on the other hand was already expected to win, so no surprise there. He was expected to knock Clottey out, and he didn't. In this sense, he failed.

Hey bounce! I really like the way you put it. I guess Clottey is really the winner on this one, cause he can say that he faced Pacquiao and he did not get knocked out. Plus he gets a lot of money for it. LOL.

I knew there was another discussion similar to this one. It seems you have a different view here, but you are right about this. it's just that it didn't came up to my head, lolz. i was more discourage to like his win because i know manny villar will surely benefit from these.

That is the most boring game of Pacquiao. Those who paid a to watch this game have been shortchanged. Well I am right in my prediction that Clottey is no match to Manny. Since the very start, I was thinking it would be a boring game and indeed it was. Actually I did not even waste my time watching it through and through. I preferred to sleep before the game is over. What kind of boxing was that! Clottey has been openly declaring he respects and idolize Manny Pacquiao a lot so I was not wrong in thinking, his respect for Manny will disable him at the ring. He did not fight at all. All I could say is "Boring!!!"

I wasn't really sure abouthis tactics although I've heard from the news that he plays dirty. and he got both the same defense as miguel cotto but you know clottey saw that fight so now he just wanted to survive and prevent from going down. well, just give it to the man if he just wanted to live his reputation but he admitted he was defeated for REAL.

I didn't have to watch it anymore since in the later rounds am already seeing the result of the fight. which reminds me a lot of the clottey,JMM fight. frankly, he was too afraid to fight fearing pacmans punch? why is he worried when is so BIG. anyways, if he loose against cotto then there's no doubt he would also loose to the PAC. am sorry for clottey, but he just wanted to survive.

Yeah the fight is so boring. Clottey is afraid to take of his guard, because if he does, surely he will be knocked down earlier. Clottey is really much bigger than pacquiao but still pacquiao handles him.
For Pacquiao, great job.

Big guy with a big shell, eh? I was only listening it to the radio since all the live stream had been blocked out, i can see the picture already in mind on how the viewers see this fight. i feel sad for clottey since he decided to just stay alive and doesn't want to make his stand.

It was incredibly boring! I think a lot of people were extremely disappointed with the fight, even Manny I think is disappointed. I mean, there was no thrill, no excitement. There was nothing great about it. I think that was the most boring fight Manny Pacquiao ever had. I hope he could have this long awaited fight with Mayweather and then he can finally retire from boxing.

Hahahah. You are right, I think he doesn't want to fight manny cause he knows there a good chance he'll lose. He's just all about trash talk and ego, not only him but also his family and trainers.

Amnot sure if it's gonna happen. Money gay weather is surely gotta do a lot of trash talk again because he's gonna pro longed the people from watching them fighting in the ring. he's a coward as far as am concerned and i don't give a damn about his title or no defeats now because he fights little guys who couldn't fight back

Although Clottey was just covering up the whole time he also landed some very good shots which probably caused the cut below Pacquiao's right eye. I believe that Clottey was reluctant to trade punches because he might get knockdown in the process. Pacquiao on the other hand was just relentless throwing punches in bunches and didn't get tired which would tell us that he has tremendous stamina. Overall Clottey's survival tactic turned the fight ugly.

yeah, i saw the replay after that and he did sneak in some punch there. am sure he tried to get manny to be weaken in the later rounds but he was wrong or he knew it all along that he would loose so he just stayed sheild like a turtle. am glad how ever he didn't contested in his defeat.

I heard on the radio about the fight. The radio is more advance than the telecast. clottey seems to covering his face to protect being punch by Manny because he knew there is a possibility he will be knocked down. He is protecting his no knocked down record. i don't like the fight.It was lame. If I wish he fight Manny, do you see the face of Manny, on lower part of his right eye, it was hit by Clottey, he is strong isn't it? I did not enjoy the fight.

Yeah, I've also just heard it from the radio as well. since all the live streams from the internet had been cut-off some how. am sure gay weather will be much much more afraid now than ever.
manny had gone through a lot since the defeat of barrera so am sure he's stronger than before.

i was tuned in in a blog site in yahoo when the match is still on going. and from the blogsite, i was able to get the results even before the airing of the match in gma. i guess, this is the most boring fight of manny pacquiao. imagine, every break, i sleep, and i wake up again when the bell rings for the next round. i even missed the 7th round.

I just watch in a radio since i haven't been paying into the pay per view. i don't bother watching the game since i have already projected the scenes of the right, like he's fighting a turtle shell clottey. i didn't bother watching the whole fight after hearing it in the radio.

When the fight took place I have watched it live on the internet. A bit laggy but tolerable. Clottey protected his record which is not being knocked out during this fight. He was careful because he knows Manny was fast.
They have once again talked with Mayweather's camp but the negotiations will take place after the Mosley/Mayweather fight
