Hull City 1 - 2 Arsenal

Arsenal keep the pressure on the table topper, Chelsea after winning their game against 10 men Hull City. Hull City play with one men less for 45 minutes after George Boateng receive his second yellow card in first half stoppage time. Even though they have to play with one men down, Hull shown some spirited game. But, they were blown in the deep inside the stoppage time when Nicklas Bendtner score the winning goal.
This put them same point with Chelsea but with less goals difference. Arsenal also has play one more game then Chelsea.
What do you think about this game? Can Arsenal put pressure until the last game of the season? Can they win the trophy, instead?

It has been heart stopping season for Arsenal. They have been completely written off twice from the title race, yet they are still in it. Just three points behind the leaders. But it was only in the last minute that they put the game to bed when Bendtner finally scored again. Hopefully Fabregas should be back next week.

Yes, I agree they have been very good without Toure, Van Persie and Adebayor and have still won matches without Fabregas. But, now the most important think for Arsenal is to win something. And I hope that this season they can get their hands on at least on the two trophies they are still in i.e. Premier League and Champions League.

Hi ram,
At least they won the games and I think Arsene Wanger care about it most then the scoreline or how they won it.
But Arsenal performance this season is awesome. Many people did not give them any chance to fight for the title since Adebayour and Kolo Toure move to Manchester City, leaving younger player to fight for their life.
Even though they lost a few important player like Van Persei, they never feel it because they have a good backup players. They can find any replacement for anybody even if it is Fabregas. They have won a lot of games without Fabregas in the team. But, with him in the team it would be an added bonus.

I think what Arsenal need now is concentration and consistency. They should never lost their concentration before the final whistle and they should be consistence in every game. The time they mostly needed it is now with only a few games to go.

hm, nice to hear this news.i do hope the competition more interesting between arsenal, chelsea and MU.off course arsenal, chelsea and MU still had a same chance to win the tittle.now they need is consistency and lucky maybe beside on the coach.

Yeah ... the competition to get the championship is very tight right now. Chelsea lead the table but only by goal different. Arsenal, same point with Chelsea, play one game more then Chelsea. Manchester United one point further behind.
Manchester United can back to the top if they could win against Fulham at Old Trafford today. But they will play one more game then Chelsea.
I think this season title is down to the wire. I hope no one win the title until the last game of the season.

Technically speaking, Arsenal will have a higher chance of winning the title since they have an easier fixture as compared to Chelsea and Manchester United. They also do not need to face the big 4 as compared to Chelsea and Man United, who will be playing each other too! Arsenal is facing intense pressure since they have a ridiculous amount of injuries, and their fitness of their strikers and their captain will be extremely vital.
They are still a young team, and I will not be surprised they will start losing soon if their injury crisis cannot be resolved. The key moment for this season will be Chelsea vs Man Utd where the victor will win the title! That's my opinion.

You are right. Arsenal totally has a greater chance to win the title if we look at the fixture. They will only have to face Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, top seven team, in their coming fixture. While Chelsea and Manchester United have to face 4 or 5 of the top seven team in premier league for their remaining fixture.
I think Arsenal young players can handle the pressure as what they have done before. And losing a key players also not effecting them seriuosly since they have a very strong and capable players to take cover.

Hi xazwa,
Chelsea have shown a great improvement this season and they are at the top of the table for quite long time. But they have a lot of injured players currently and most especially their goalkeepers. Petr Cech and Hilario are out and they have to put their reserve goalkeeper to face West Ham United yesterday. It would not good for them especially during the crucial time like right now.
Arsenal can not be forgotten since they have made a tremendous improvement since double lost to Chelsea and Manchester United. They are now same point with Chelsea at the top. Only the goal different separate them.
