I have tried to make a band a few times, none of them lasted unfortunatly.
I either was the singer or the drummer. I did play guitar for a short while but never tried that out in a band. It was mostly singing. Once I start my new job I hope to be able to afford singing lessons again to improve my skills. I'm not sure if I will ever try being in a band again but I enjoy singing as a hobby anyway.

Yeah..band! In high school I used to play twice a week at least with my band mates. The rehearsals were so exciting. It's always a good way to relax just playing your favorite songs. We also have written four or five song by ourselves and I can say they were very well accepted by the local rock and metal fans when we played live, but we had to split up because everyone had to go to other city because of working, studying and so on. I definitely miss those days.

I'm in a band with friends. And I like it.
But... in another old bands, some problems appeared and so the things became strange...
So many discussions and fights, and sometimes punch and kicks hahaha.
Everything between 'friends'. Result... the band over.

i was also a band member when i was in school. but because i do not play instruments, i was one of the vocalists only. but i had been a member of the school band playing the trumpet when i was younger.

15 years ago I played in a band for a while. We were 2 girls and 6 boys, and I played the keyboard. It was a very international band, 5 of us were Danish, and there was one boy from Russia, one boy from Finland and one boy from Iceland. Some of the boys from other countries sometimes sang in their own languages, and that way we got the chance to play some songs that the rest of us had never heard about before, and that was really interesting. The rest of time we played songs in Danish or in English and we also wrote some of our songs ourselves, that was fun.

Yeah two of my best friends and I have kind of jammed off and on throughout our high school years and we started jamming pretty consistently last summer. We were pretty good together or at least I thought so but they moved downstate to go to college and to find more opportunities. I loved playing in a band with those guys and I hope that someday I can play in a band with them again.
I would recommend forming a band with people that you have a good connection with because some of the best bands sound so good because all of their members have chemistry and they are not each pieces of a song but a band.

Hello there alilin28..
well, my friends invited me to their band, they named it "paranoia" since they dont know anyone who could be there lead guitarist.. its an all-girl band.. we've made a few compositions, but when we started college, we were divided, so we've split up already..lol

When I was growing up, I played clarinet in the school band and enjoyed it. From time to time, I still play in a community band now as an adult. I play piano professionally but mainly play on my own. I have played in church groups and have found these to be very satisfying--and just lots of fun! I play in church on Sundays and love the opportunity to worship God and express myself this way.
