Hey everyone, Had a question for any of you who have tried being a cha cha guide. I'm not looking to make tons of cash. I am currently a student in college and I have not been able to find a part time job for quite some time now. I've been considering Cha Cha but am wondering if its worth the time. I just need it for spending/saving money. I live with my parents who pay my tuition and car insurance. I've been taking classes that have some seriously time consuming projects so I'm not sure if I could even handle a "real" job right now anyway and get my documentary made. So I was wondering if anyone has done it ? Is it worth the time ? Is it a good source for some pocket money ? anything you can tell me will help. I took the readiness test and I am just waiting to hear back from them. thanks for the help in advance

Well, if you have the time to put into it then ChaCha can be pretty rewarding, but there's some things to keep in mind: 1) As a guide you'll make decent money per question, depending on your category, but you also won't get very many questions most of the time. As an expediter or voice transcriber you don't hardly make anything per question (2 cents), but you get much more questions. 2) It takes time. You're not going to make money overnight, so you will indeed need some time to put into it. If you get good at it, you can make a decent amount per hour when it's busy. 3) Pay comes in two ways. You can either have it direct deposited each month, but that only happens when you reach $100 at the end of the month, so it might take a couple of months to actually get any money. Or you can have it put on a card, I believe, and I think you can cash out on that whenever you'd like (though you'd have to look at the site FAQ more about that because I'm not entirely sure). All in all, I do enjoy ChaCha, but it's very repetitive and time-consuming, so I really don't end up spending a whole lot of time there. I've made payout a couple of times and they do indeed pay, but it usually takes me several months to get there as I don't spend too much time on it.
