Do you use deodorant? Which type of deodorant you prefer?

Hi again, friends! Deodorant is a vital product when it comes to maintaining body hygiene and preventing unpleasant smell from occurring, although some people can get by even without using it. I prefer stick deodorants because they seem to be more effective, than others, although not every stick deodorant is effective enough for me. I've been searching for that right deodorant for a long time, when I finally decided to try Old Spice stick deodorant. It did it's job perfectly, keeping my armpits fresh for the whole day. What about you? Share your preferences with me!

I wear deodorant everyday. I have an extra can at work if I need a refresh. My preferred brand is Axe. It seems to do a good job and smells nice to boot. The only problem is keeping the ladies off of me.

I think that an extra can comes in handy when you're at work. Hahaa, I've also seen that Axe commercial, it seems that it's a really strong piece, ladies just can't resist the smell of the deodorant and will stick to you even if you look like that monkey on your avatar! Thanks for responding!:)

Deodorant is an essential product for me because I am a clean person. I wouldn't want to smell of body odor. I use a combined deodorant and anti-perspirant. It smells of flowers and it used as a roll on type of deodorant. It keeps me smelling fresh and dry under the arms all day. I have a friend that often fails to use a deodorant. I think personal hygiene is very important indeed.

I can't live without Deos.. LOL!! Well, I'll relate what happened today morning. I woke up! Got ready to go to office and found that my deo spray was drained... Jeez!! I ran out immediately, walked one and half kilometer and bought a new one and returned home. I left home for office, only after applying my deo... I can't live without it!!! Deodrant is needed to make one feel fresh, to keep away the body odour.. I always feel confident with a deo on my body ;). There are many good ones in the market at reasonable prices... AXE (I bought this one today), Adidas, Park Avenue, WildStone, Fa, Rexona, Gillete and many more.... Old Spice is good too; my experience with old spice is nice. I prefer sprays to sticks, though... The sticks make my body feel sticky a lot... Thanks for sharing.. Have a nice time!

Oh yes, I am very reliant upon deodrants... I can't live without it.. It gives confidence and takes away the worry about the body odor. Moreover, it keeps one cheered up all the time and that adds value to the over all personality of a person... :) have a nice time!

Well, you seem to be really depending on deodorant, because you had no problem with walking for a mile just to buy the deodorant. But I understand you - deodorant gives you confidence, you won't have to worry about your body odor during the whole day, so your mood will be much better due to that in general too. There are many reliable deos indeed available in stores, but unfortunately not all suit me. Thank you for your time, have a great day!:)

I'm a girl, and I sweat a lot, which is not pretty. Like you I used to prefer stick deodorants but they were just not doing it for me. Then I found Mitchum roll on, although it's quite messy until it dries, mitchum really does work for me. I don't sweat that much and I smell great. Mitchum is not really known here in our country, but I really really love it, and it's a good thing that I tried it.

Sweating may be a very annoying problem, but it's good that you have found a good solution for fighting it. However, I haven't seen Mitchum around in our shops, so I can't add something about that product from my own experience. Thanks for answering!:)

I only use a deodorant during the summer months which is an organic pump spray bottle with no aerosols or aluminium it it. I have found that since I stopped eating meat and dairy that I can get away without using deodorant for the rest of the year as I do not smell as bad as I used to. This seems to be a common thing for most people that I know who are vegans.

Wow, didn't knew that body odor level has actually connection with eating habits. It's good that you don't smell bad without using deodorant, so there is no need to use it. I also respect your decision to use organic deodorants, so it may help saving the environment. Thanks for dropping by, take care!:)

The main reason I choose the organic stuff is because I do not want the nasty chemicals from mainstream deodorants soaking into my body. But yes, it is also better for the environment when disposing of the containers too.

Well after trying lots of different brands, scents and types I found one that really does work for me. It's a Sure roll on. I am not a big fan of the stick types at all they just don't seem to work for me at all. One thing I do like to do now and again is to wear my husbands spray on deoderant. The fragrances are much better and seem to last longer than womens.

Well, there are different types of deodorant that suit different types of people. I've heard about a number of women that like to use men perfume or deodorants, they like the masculine smell of these ones. And of course, there is always a possibility that men deodorant may work better than women one, because men sweat more in my opinion, so they need a stronger product to deal with sweat.

Not every day I have to confess...Oh dear, I am going to seem very unhygenic, but as a rule I only use for special dressing up occasions, the last of which was the day I discovered that I had run out of deodorant. I'm kinda hard up these days, so it's not the top of my list of priorities. Please...I'm really a nice guy...don't walk away from me on the street (joke).

Well, it's not too terrible, because at least you care to use it on special occasions. And I don't think that smell is strong enough to chase off people on the streets!

I do not use deodorants, but I use perfumes. I like to try various perfumes. I have a few favorite perfumes, but I am interested to try new ones. My favorite perfume is a guy's perfume. My friends always make fun of me for using a guy's perfume being a girl. I don't care. I think I should use the perfume I like regardless of it is made for guys or girls.

Well, I've heard that some ladies really like to use men's perfume, because they like masculine scents. I wouldn't say it's weird, because there are many women who like to use men's cosmetics. Thanks for answering!:)

Im always changing my deorderants. I sadly havent found the right one for me yet. The one that I currently use is TEEN stick I think, I got it because it smells like a basket of rasberrys. But when it gets on my clothes it stains them white. And the odor protection dosent last that long. If any one has any input on whats a good deoderant let me know . :)

I like the teen spirit deodorants as well they smell great. I like to change things up alot though so I'm always looking for new deodorant scents. I've tried roll ons and gel type anti-perspirants but it gives me a bad rash on my armpits so I have to stick to the regular stick type deodorants. Right now my favorite is by Suave they have these scent expressions and they smell so good. The two scents that I have found to be my favorites are cocoa butter and the other is vanilla.

Picking the most suitable deodorant for yourself may be really hard task. I've also searched for a long time before finding the one that really satisfies me. Well, I am a man, so I don't know much about womens deodorants, but I've recently seen a commercial of Rexona deodorant, it was told that it doesn't leave those white traces on clothes and it's supposed to be effective too. Have you tried that one already?

im not choosy when it comes to brand as long as its odorless and its a stick deodorant. besides i really dont have strong body odor so i can use even the mild one.i hate the liquid base coz i feel sticky with it and i need to dry it first with the fan before i can wear clothes coz it will stick to my clothes.

I also avoid liquid deodorants for the same reason - it glues everything up and therefore gives a strange feeling. Thanks for sharing!:)

Hey, Professor! I've never heard about the soaps you use, they seem to be something exotic for me. But they must be good too. The smelling talc may be a nice alternative to deodorant too. Thanks for sharing!:)

i buy my deodorant from Avon because where i live, i can get it as low as 99 cents for a bottle (its a liquid roll on). it works really well and we get it for the whole family.

Wow! 0.99$ for a bottle is hell of a low price for a deodorant! In that case it's really reasonable to stick to that deodorant! Thanks for sharing!:)

I dont use deodorant... I use anti-perspirant/deodorant. There is a difference just to make that clear. Deodorant is to cover the smell of sweat and anti-perspirant helps prevent you from sweating so if you get an anti-perspirant/deodorant then you are getting esentially the best covarge to can get to prevent under arm odor.

I use deodorant every day. Keeps me from smelling bad, especially since it's really hot here. I don't care too much about the brand that I end up with. To me, as long as it is cheap and effective, then it is a brand for me to keep using. So my preferred is the cheapest brand.

Wise choice, pal! For me it's also important if deodorant is effective or not. I've tried many cheap and expensive ones, but found one of the middle price class for myself. Thanks for responding!;)

Well, sprays are very easy to apply, I've used a couple of those, but I was running out of them very quickly and they weren't effective in my case. But every person has it's own preferences, it's good that you are happy with your deos! Thanks for answering!:)
