Does anyone still use a percolator to make coffee?

So, I was shopping around town over the weekend, and I found that percolators are still being made!
I had never used one myself, but heard many stories about them from the 70s.
Bought a nice stainless steel one, and after I finally figured out how to use it, I plugged it in, put in some freshly-ground beans, and off it went!!
The noise was so interesting -- my mom told me it reminded her of way-back-when, when folks still used percolators.
Well, the coffee came out fairly decent...
Although, I don't know if I noticed any difference than my coffee I brew from my regular coffeemaker.
But still, the nostalgia part is awesome.
So, just wondering.
A pic of a percolator is attached -- looks very similar to the one I have now.

I've never used one but my mother did, in the 70's. I didn't drink coffee then, so I don't know how the taste compares. My dad worked the 2nd shift, so every afternoon my mom made his lunch and a fresh pot of coffee to put in his thermos.

I certainly remember them although I do not own one. I'm not a coffee drinker but my hubby uses our coffee maker. I love the smell of coffee though.
I have memories of my mom using a percolator when we had "coffee time" after church with my aunts, uncles, and cousins every week. I'm not sure if she still has hers. I've seen several at garage sales too.
