I don't question the presence of God in my life and the life of His creations. I have throughout my life strongly believe that there is higher power that exist. But many people often spend decades of their life going round in circles trying to debate God's existence. They analyze the problems, research it, turn it over and over in their minds, go back and forth a thousand times, and at the end of the whole process, they're still not sure. Why?
There isn't time to discuss proofs that there is God, but based on logic, observation of the physical world and our internal consciousness, and inductive or deductive reasoning. The logical proofs can be extremely helpful, especially to free thinkers who tends to think that it's not "intelligent" to believe in God or somehow goes against science. But the problem is that sometimes people get so wrapped up in logic that they get tied up in it as well. They can forget that the solution they are looking for is right in front of their eyes and doesn't require any argument at all.
Before questioning the existence of God, why don't people ask who is the designer of this world? The world and other planets did not exist without a creator. Likewise, how did human beings come into existence? Either we come about by chance or we were created for a reason. Now where did everything come from? There are no other forces but God who created all these miracles. Are you still in doubt that He exist?

i have heard lots of scientists come to a belief in God because they figure that there is no other way that the world could come into being.
i often wonder why people choose not to believe in God or are athiests. i guess if you try hard enough, you can explain anything away. i have heard it is harder to be an athiest than to be a Christian.

Scientists are not born but are people who are gifted with brilliant brains and through years of studies and discoveries they can genuinely vouch the existence of this supernatural being. Having to believe in a God you can't see is one of the "tests" God gives us in this life.

Some very good thoughts and words here my friend. I know I work with someone that says he does not believe God can help anyone, especially with all the stuff going on right now in the world, and I think often he is just denying himself the chance to believe their is a God. Sometimes the ones who are like this were hurt with a church experience when they were younger, like dragged to Sunday School even if they did not want to go etc. but deep down I wonder if they were really faced with a Trial or situation in their life where there was no choice but to admit there is a God who could help them, I wonder how many still would say this? I for one am glad I know that there is a God, and he is there to help me every step of the way even when I choose not to ask.

Pray that the holy spirit will touch the hearts of non believers. That they will one day realize that without God they won't be in existence and the many beautiful things around them. It is hard to convince people of the truth. Only time will, hopefully make them realize the existence of God before it is too late.

hi
no doubt at all there is a supreme power that 'co-exist' with us and among us dear ..
in some of our religious scriptures ... it is said that, when human is ready to give up with 'worldly' desires or love for this 'materialistic' world, he will be ready to find God .. and find the truth about life.
Buddha + Jesus were some example that most knows now.. they were 'people' be who actually gave up their 'worldly' desires ... Buddha left his fortune, throne & family and seeked God. Jesus totally gave up everything including his life in name of God ..
Until then we still have to depend on science .. as most of us still are 'entangled' in webs, be it family, fame or fortune ... until we give up we will never see God

We are surrounded by worldly abundance and it is not easy for the mortal souls to surrender the glitters of this world for the unseen forces. Only when trouble and misfortune that he remember God as the last resort to come to his aid. Faith in God is never more wonderful than in hours of trial. It is only then that one realizes what a marvelous sure help and refuge that Faith in God is!

God shows me He exists in many ways. Nature, music, friends, births, etc. He is all around us and you just have to take the time and look. We are always so busy going to work, school, outside activites. We need to take some quiet time and there you will find God. I also find him when I read The Bible and meditate in His word.

It is most questioned and years long unresolved issue. Whether are there any God or not. But the answer is closed to that the God is created by man. Means God is creation of people's mind. It's a belief that as the universe is created so logically there must be creator. And the unknown creator is designed as God by the people. In this concept if there is any God then there must be a creator of God and that creator is people's mind.
And as different people's has different thought so the design of God is also different for different people. It is a concept and based on faith. And concept and faith can't be treated as truth. So always there would be a question on the existence of God. This mostly questioned and unresolved issue remain unresolved.
If really is there any god in reality then people might have an unanimous concept on this matter. Now another point... If whole universe is creation of God. What needs of him to keep himself. Either he has any fear or shame. Whom he fear to show his existence? And what wrong he made that he ashamed to come public view?
So huge universe he made that he should be proud to declare openly -" Look what the creation created by me ?" But as he has created a crime that he is hidden himself. Or he think some other more powerful then him that he fear?
All those above is not based on any proof but as the concept of God we may consider as a concept.
It is not my effort to proof whether there is any God or not but I want to say that existence of God is in people's mind and it dwell in faith and belief. No other way to prove his existence.

In the case of faith, it's easy to overlook the most fundamental point of all, namely, that is not an argument, he is not a syllogism; he is not even a concept. God is a living being. He has the ability to know things, to desire things, to create things, and to love things. He is fully aware and involved. He is alive.
Why is that so important? Because living beings don't have to be "proved." They can be shown. If I want to prove to everyone that my uncle Jo exists, I don't have to mathematically demonstrate that fact. I don't have to produce his birth certificate, passport or social security card. I can if I wish, but I don't have to. There's much simpler solution. If I want I can just pick up the phone, give him a call, and say "Hi uncle Jo, how are doing today?" And if anyone had the audacity to doubt that my uncle was really living, breathing person, and not just some figment of my imagination, all I'd have to do is introduce them to him.
It's a similar situation we discuss God. Yes, we can come up with all kinds of fancy arguments to prove his existence, but we don't have to. It's not a strict requirement. Because God is a living being, we can simply give him a "call". Since he is really, truly alive, he is going to answer us and have conversation with us, maybe not in the exact same way as uncle Jo would if we called him on phone, but close. Those who doubt never made a sincere effort to suspend their doubts by one second and say "God, I don't know if you're up there. In fact, I'm having a big problem believing in you. But if you exist, will you please do something to show me, so that I know for sure?"
Do you know know what will happen if you say this kind of prayer? God is going to answer you. He is going to say YES. He is going to show you that he exists. Why? Because God is not some cosmic joker. He is not interested in playing hide-and-seek with us. His goal is not to confound and confuse us for our entire lives. Yes, he wants us to have faith in something we can't see or touch, but he doesn't expect us to do the impossible. He doesn't expect us to believe in something or someone we can't even communicate with.
Now you may say, "I do have faith, but it is so weak." Dear friend, there is no measuring rod which can measure faith. Even the smallest amount of faith is enough for God. The greatest amount of faith which you might have would not make you more dear to your Father. For all He asks is that you believe, just believe! The faith of a grain of mustard seed can bring to you the love of God and move the mountain just as greatly as the faith which fills the biggest church.

Human having the brain capable of thinking with rationally is bring the necessity of God. Apart from other animal people has conscious, subconscious and unconscious brain. And in relativity to other animal people have very strong subconscious brain. People has the power to justify the action and the cause behind action. So logically a very strong reason of have a great force behind the creation of universe. And force behind the creation and continuity of the whole universe is the basic of conception of God.
Now a question arise why this necessity of this concept comes. We can point towards many things but the main reason is the rational brain of human. If people could have not the strong reasoning power then not concept like God would have not come.
From the very beginning of human civilization with the evolution of mankind people struggled with the nature. They amazed with the mysteries of the nature. Vast shy, uncountable stars, endless sea ..... The nature is always a matter of curiosity for them. They grown up with the nature. The natural phenomenon like day , night , wind , rain ... they stare with the natural changes. Natural calamities and disaster makes them trembled. They pray the power behind it to save their life. As being the owner of strong thinking power they start to think cause behind it. Thus from the very beginning of human civilization people always try to find the cause behind every thing. Still now people in search of it . Still the issue is not resolved.
So the power of man in search of the cause behind contract this concept. And basic logic behind it is the logical theory " If there is a action then there must be force behind it." And the force behind the universe is designed be different people different way. That's why so many religion and so many concept of God. God is like the portrait drawn by many artist without viewing the real one. So the supreme power { Power that runs the universe} is formulated different way ... like God , Allah, Bramha, Bisnu, Deus so on.
Conceptions of God is very wide. Philosophers have studied countless conceptions of God since the dawn of civilization. There is different conception on god from different religions.
Many arguments are attempted to prove or disprove the existence of God. And I think both are technically fail to prove where there is any God or not. Both are helpless in this matter. Many philosopher issues concerning the existence of God. But most of them are non specific and self-contradictory to each other. Most of them want to say that there must be a supreme power behind the existence of universe and that is God. There is no unanimous concept on God. On other hand arguments against the existence of God typically deductive, and inductive types, like "God almost certainly does not exist", "God exists, but this cannot be proven or disproved"
So God is not a matter to be proven or unproved. It is a belief and if any one has trust on God then there is God for him.
Now the question is whether the concept of God is helpful or not. In my believe concept of God is helpful to mankind. It is a psychological phenomenon and it helps human psychologically. When we are in trouble then if we have the belief of god then we feel that there is a strong hand behind us to protect from all odds. And we feel mantel relief. We can consecrate our unstable mind. And the mantel relief gives us strength to struggle for the survival. If we believe on God then in fear we restrict ourselves from bad activities. That is another positive prospect of faith on God.

There is no point in questioning the existence of God. It is written down and been said by many great spiritual masters that God is Everything, so wherever you look within or without, you are going to be witenessing what we call God.
Why do people need to search and analyse something that evidently exists in their very experience!? _Derek

I have often looked for a sign that there indeed is a God especially when times are tough. I guess if God showed Himself there would not be a need for faith. Even during the most difficult times when at times I seriously doubted God’s existence I still knew that there was some kind of force running the Universe, there has to be! Who controls nature and people’s so called luck versus bad lack? I cannot always put it into words, it is an inner knowing.

It is hard to explain in words the existence of God but you are right, it is an inner knowing. Just as a blind man is forced to use his other senses to experience the world, God forces us to see him through different senses, through divine lenses, if you will.

Hi zandi, yes I do believe that god really exists, and believe me, this thought that there is a superior being above us who is powerful and in control of our destiny is really a consoling factor...It makes me feel humbled and down to earth, and I am always glad that there is an all knowing, and all powerful being above us to whom we can pray to in times of distress and happiness alike....Someone who will protect us and on whom we can depend on....in whose audience evil is punished and condemned and goodness is appreciated and promoted...amen....

Hi Rose, we all believe in One God and the acts of God that we see happening in our everyday life. The recognition that something outside yourself was responsible for causing something that is now directly impacting your life in a way that couldn't possibly have come from you. It may not be a vision. It may not be the voice of an angel. It may not be anything commonly associated with miracles. But it will be something powerful nonetheless.

At first I don't really Doubt Him but when I lost Every Close friend I have I kept on asking Him "why?". Since that day i really didn't care about life. I thought that I won't care whatever will happen to my life. My last Friend (year 2008, Month of November) went to Italy without even giving me a notice. I was just informed by her friend. then i learned that Everyone was informed Except me. I really hated life that time. when i was crossing the street i almost got hit by an ambulance and even cried regretting because i lived. when i got home i took a shower and asking God to let me see the end of life. Then i slipped and was supposed to hit my head on the tiles when suddenly its like someone pushed me on the back to make the fall lighter. and then i heard something that is like "giving up is not good. Look and see. your life is great" then since then my life did became beautiful. It's like God had Been on my side After all! :)

Problems of every kind, problems that formerly caused untold amounts of pain and anxiety will completely loss their crippling effect on you. You should thank God that you are still around today, He sure doesn't want you to leave your earthly existence before your time is up.

I like this argument. All of know that the being enveloped with God's presence and being fill with His Revelation and His power is an absolute freedom of God. No one can and by no means, can one acquire this. There is no question of who is holy and who is not holy if God so chooses a person for a particular mission. Even if that chosen person is a sinner, God purifies him and raises him to the dignity of knowing His Divine Mysteries. There is no question of partiality, in the Bible, Moses was stammering, not capable of eloquence, Aron was an expert speaker, But God would reveal direct to Moses and Aron had to accompany him to speak to Pharaoh in Egypt.

everything that exists in the world is because of him, we are here only occupy space and time. I do not doubt that God exists or can help us with various kinds of trials. Let you see in the past, our ancestors may not have the clothes and god gives us the ability to think of something that does not exist and we could use magic of any material to be processed into various types of goods.

Deep down we all know God. AS with all things concerning God, it is more complex than you realize. There are hidden issues you do not see yet.People are learning and growing through the interactions.Examples:Atheists force religious people to question. No longer is it easy to be just accepting.Works on blind faith.Religious people can hurt others being judgemental.People have hidden hurt feelings on both sides that need dealing with. Religion forces the problems to the surface. Interaction which sometimes brings drama also carries resolution, healing, and truth. So relax and keep interacting yourself. We will all learn and grow. Be who you must! It's a part of the plan!

Communication is really the key to understanding the whole mystery of faith. In fact the history of the world is rally the history of God trying to communicate with mankind. By creating the universe and the planets in the first place, God was "breaking the silence."

no, never. i never think that there is a god behind us and he is the creator of us. if he is the creator, then according to logic thereis a creator of him too bcoz nothing can come without a reason or a creator. so its a big question. i think all happened according to the rules of earth. if a seed get the touch of water and soil, then it will come out automaticaly, if u keep it on the roof of your home, god cant make it a big tree. thanks

Ever since I Exist in this world I never questions if God really exist, because you can prove that God is exist by simple observing the things around you, the people you love, the air that we breath, the food that we eat, the beautiful places that we've seen, although lot of the things here on earth are already made by human but without the guidance from God thins things will not come into reality....
Even you is the living proof that God really exist.

I don't have doubt at all. God really exist. If we keep on asking, if we have a loving God why He allows suffering in the world? God really exist, we do have sufferings because we are not knowing HIM. He allows only wonderful things that happen in our lives. And if we encounter a little difficulty its because He wants us to learn more. Life is about test papers. Sometimes we are wrong, sometimes right. And God always gives another exam to know what we have learn in life. So review through prayers and have a perfect score of happiness.

Having to believe in a God you can't see is one of the "tests" God gives us in this life. And while it's not always the easiest test in the world, it is certainly a test we can all pass. But this is where we really have to be careful. Because if God takes away the test of faith from you, he's going to put another test in its place. And you can be sure that this other test won't be easy.
