Family Guy: Like it or think it's stupid?

I used to think Family guy was stupid. Every time I'd see a commercial on tv or see a part of an episode I'd think it was one of the stupidest shows out there. I didn't like it and thought it was just vulgar brainless comedy. But, then my brother got a few episodes for his PSP and I watched a few, and I really started liking the show. Now I watch it on tv all the time, and I must say I love it. :D Yes, it IS innapropriate often, but it's actually a really uplifting show. :D N every time I watch it, I laugh and get into a happier mood. It's more than just comedy, I love the characters, and how each one has its own personality. I especially love Stewie. He's deliciously evil, but also funny because sometimes he's just as naive and adorable as a real baby. It's not THAT brainless as well, because often there are satirical references to many ideas, people, and even political references. So, I guess I just never really gave it a chance because I'd see small parts of it and automatically push it away. If you hate it and think it's a stupid show, I suggest watching a few episodes and getting to know it better before making a decision, because you could really be missing out!
