why do your friends like you

My friends seem to like the fact that they can talk to me about just anything and still get a non judgemental advice. I try to be up-front about what I say and that is what makes them feel I am original. Also they like the thing that I do not agree with peer or society pressure. So they do not have to be something they are not. I usually see that they like to talk to me somewhere alone. And most of their conversations revolve around things that bother them in their lives. So you can just say I am a healer to them. But somehow I also see that once they go into a happy mode in their lives they end up leaving me in a way like they do not need me anymore. But I am find with it. This is California and it happens a lot here. I am just not the only one.
