Every election, I always choose a candidate that breathed the same advocacies as mine. I don't choose someone just because other hated him or did not suits well to their definition of an "ideal" statesman. For this election my criteria in choosing a Presidential candidate are the following: a. strong motivation to do what is right and fixing what is wrong. b. someone whose character embodied what good governance and transparency is all about. c. someone who has integrity, humility and high moral standard. d. no record of corruption, has simple lifestyle and God-fearing. Mahatma Gandhi once said: a true public servant must lead a simple life. e. strong devotion to freedom and democracy. and those definitions fitted only to one man: Noynoy Aquino His detractors criticized him for not being accomplished or intelligent or whatever. History taught us that intellect and experience do not simply create an overnight magic. Philippines already tasted all those experience and intelligent leaders but ended up loathing the economy and dragged the country into messy controversies. Accomplishments and skills are learned and can be learned, but not character and wisdom---that's innate and cannot be reverted.

thanks, but for me, having a leader with a good reputation is not enough, yes Noynoy has the all the ethics might the Philippines needed but it's the kind of leadership which is counted as far as the presidency seats is concerned

NoyNoy will not be a good president..pls take a look of what he did whenever he is still in senate.. He doesnt seem to make any bills, He was just known because of his mother and father.. oh well... It would be better if Villar or Erap will be the next president

here's mine Lien :) 1st - Teodoro 2nd - Noynoy 3rd - Gordon I sort of like teodoro because of on how he speaks and he sounds educated enough :) I really don't like manny villar, I don't like candidates who exposes themselves too much and spends A LOT and TOO MUCH for their campaign. Even though he is really rich, where and how will he get back the money that he spent on his campaign if ever he wins? hmm

It's quite hard to rank them but I think I would based my ranking on their performance so the 1st one would be Manny Villar, because he has done a lot of things to the people even before except the fact that there's an issue about the c5 road but I think he is more intellect and his story inspires people but I think he has a good heart also but we don't know. My 2nd pick would be Gordon because of his enthusiasm and he is a straightforward person and I like that, of course he has done a lot in Olongapo and he is an active senator and have done a lot of work in the senate. And lastly, I'll go for Noynoy because he is a rightful person but we cannot say also because we don't know him personally and one thing more I don't hear any bills that he has done in the senate so that's kinda dissatisfying to know and maybe people like him not because of him but because of his mother and father.
