Yesterday my honey surprised me by taking me to the movies. We went with my upstairs neighbor and is awful daughter. We say ALICE IN WONDERLAND IN 3D. I wasnt excited about seeing it at first because I havent really liked any of Tim Burton's films. This however surprised me! It was really good. I heard Avatar in 3D was good too. I thought I would get a headache but I didnt. It was a really good time. I recommend that you see it. If for nothing else the 3D effects. Happy Mylotting dl

I have heard that this movie is pretty good. We have friends who have seen it. We usually do not go to 3D movies as a family as they do not work for my wife. She sees the whole film as a blur.
I have however heard that the technology has changed and that she may be able to view them now. We will have to go to the cinema and ask whether she can have a sneak peek at a screening before we commit to watching the whole thing perhaps.

Hey Bill! It really was a good movie! I didnt want to go see it at first. The technology has been updated. I went to spy kids 3 with my daughter a few years back and I got such a headache. I guess the new glasses make it so it doesnt bother you as much. GIve it a try. Hopefully she'll enjoy it as much as I did. I was ducking and covering my head. It was so much fun! GO SEE IT! Happy MyLotting dl

Ok, I think we will have to give it a go.
We went to see a 3D movie a few years back, shark boy and seal girl or something? It was rubbish!

Hi Dloveli. I'm totally jealous! I can't watch 3D, because one of my eyes doesn't work properly, and you need both to make the glasses work. Booo!!! Lol!
Used to spend ages trying to see those "magic" pictures as well, until I realised it just wasn't going to happen for me, they should have 3D glasses with both colours in one lens or something .
Glad you enjoyed it hon.

This is our second movie in 3D that we had watched. Our daughter who is 15 was very excited about it so we did watch it with her.It was good but i like the Avatar better. They are on different kind of movie.Alice in Wonderland was a fairytale story and the Avatar was a futuristic one. They were both worth watching though.

I've yet to go see a movie in 3D. I've been intrigued about the idea, but because of the fact that I try to live my life as frugally as possible, I am just not able to justify the additional cost of going to see a movie in 3D. However, I have heard wonderful things about Alice in Wonderland and more specifically about the 3D version of the movie. I have to admit that I am actually considering spending a few hours of my life to see it.

Hey friend,
Pray for me so that I can get the chance because I live in Bangladesh where a improved technology reaches to the poor very late.
Have a great day.

Wow I'm envious I haven't seen Alice in Wonderland yet. My last 3D film was a movie about spy rodents, I forgot the title I love Johnny Depp even though he looks like Elijah Wood in this film.

I have yet to see a movie in 3D. I'm kind of hesitant about it as I worry that I might feel ill from it and would have to leave (I've gotten ill from a movie before and it wasn't even in 3D). I doubt that they would give me a refund if I did...or would they? Because if they did I just might give it a chance.
On a side note, I'm not too fond of Tim Burton movies either. So knowing that another person who isn't crazy about his movies liked Alice in Wonderland is a big plus for me!
Happy mylotting!

I saw it Saturday. It was pretty good. Probably would have been better if we hadn't been in the 2nd row.

I missed seeing Avatar. My grandkids want to see Alice so I may take them. My second 3D film was the second Chipmunks movie. It was pretty cute. That 3D stuff is pretty exciting to watch. I woulld have loved to have seen Avatar. I saw another 3D years back but don't remember what it was. Guess it didn't make that much of an effect on me then did it? Hehehe

Hey dloveli! This is one of the only movies that I am dying
to see in 3D! I have always the loved the book by Lewis G. Carroll
since I read it as a little girl! I didn't really know what it
meant, but I really want to see this movie badly! I very rarely
go to the movies because they cost so much money! I will either
go to see this movie or wait for it to come out on DVD because
they do come out so fast and they do make them in 3D and give
you the glasses with them!

I love the fact that 3D is becoming a popular conversation topic now! I haven't seen a 3D movie in years but I recently heard that the first 3D television is coming on to the market and the manufacturer is Samsung! I really want one of these televisions but right now they are far too expensive. You also have to buy the 3D glasses separately which is a bit of an inconvenience. From what I remember of 3D it's great when you can actually witness a scene from a movie coming into your living room! I think this is definitely the future and I hope to catch up in due course but not whilst my finances are suffering terribly! Andrew

Hi, dloveli. I am glad that you enjoyed yourself and watching your first 3D film. I know that it must have been very exciting to watch. Isn't watching in 3D like you are viewing something up close? I know that I have seen a film up very close when I was at the MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida. It was very fun. It looked like I was actually in the movie! It was amazing!~
