I prefer to walk, or ride with others, the reason is I have an extremely poor sense of direction and I get lost going, well... everywhere. So it is great to have a ride so that I get there quicker.

That's a good reason to prefer riding with others!

it depends really on the day where we are going or the time of day. If it is a nice day and i am just going out for a joy ride, then i will either ride or drive dont matter to me, But if we are going to a big city, somewhere i have never been before or its night time then i would much rather ride. As well if it will be a long drive longer then an hour the most i would prefer to ride. My husband does most of the driving. i like it that way he loves to drive and i prefer not to.

When I was married my husband did most of the driving too. I drove only at night because he was usually sleepy after 8 or 9 PM!! But now it's just me so I do all of the driving! But I like that better!

I would love to be able to drive, but unfortunately due to medical grounds (I suffer from epilepsy) I have never been allowed to drive.
It's quite frustrating as public transport is getting increasingly more expensive, and also highly unreliable.

I was 50 years old when I finally learnt to drive and now I love it. I prefer being the driver so I have control over where and when I go although there aer occasions when I am happy to sit back and let someone else take over.

I used to really not like to ride with other people, but in my old age (50) I don't mind as much although I can't really relax! I prefer driving!

i like to drive but first i really have to learn first before driving right?
i want to learn how to drive for me to buy a new car for the family.
once we had a service type auto and my father used to drive for us.but at that time i'm too scared to learn how to drive then we had financially problem so my father sell the auto.i never learned how to drive.
now,i didn't much travel.i'm a home buddy watching over my 3 yr old niece.
sometimes i want freedom!do things on my own...

I would rather someone else drive. I don't mind driving around town, but I hate to drive if others are with me going a long distance. I really have trouble seeing if it is really bright and at night with headlights. I end up with a really bad headache and my eyes just want to shut. If someone else is able, I would just rather they did.

Since I only got my license when I turned 50 years old I honestly have to say I still would rather ride. I really can't stand driving. There are just to many people on the road that don't follow the rules of the road. So I haven't driven in about a year now. My daughter will drive me where ever I need to go which is usually only to the stores and the beauty shop. She doesn't mind since it is my car she is driving and she drives so good and confident. I know if I had learned to drive in my younger years I would love to drive today. I can't change the past it is what it is.
