It seems to me that I make payout every other month using Helium, even if I dont work at it for a while, the reason is because I have a lot of articles on the site. Have you found that you can make payout every single month or do you wait a long time for payout.

I was hitting payout every month for my first six months writing for Helium. A lot of that came from the marketplace. I haven't been writing quite as much for them because of other projects. But have every intention of getting back into the site at some point in the near future.

I too have a lot of projects and I have to go there and write every three or four days because of it. I usually come here on my breaks to see if I can get some time in too, it is getting harder the busier I am.

Since they started doing up-front offers, I've made payout every month and have been paid consistently. It depends upon how much I'm able to write especially now with going to school. I've always been paid and have had no problems with the site. Before that, didn't do so and it was harder without that. My focus has been primarily there.

Guess I am now in the fortunate position of being able to make payout every month on daily revenue. That being said I like to give myself earning targets each month so I know roughly how many articles I need to write which I find helps me stay motivated to write.

I agree with you, I do so well on the site that I know what I need to make money every month.

That is awesome! I am about halfway there but I have not had much time to write this month so I don't know if my upfronts and bonuses will be enough to get me over the top. It will be the first time I miss payout if not.

Every month? It took me 2 1/2 years to make my first payment. I have to say though that after the first 6 months where I started out really Gung Ho I stopped writing there because I was doing so much better writing for Associated Content where I was making payment every month, so it is my own fault it took that long to make pay out, but after 6 months and over 40 articles I was getting frustrated. Last month I did go back and I was at about $19 give or take a few cents and I saw a couple of debate discussions I wanted to chime in on so I wrote two article and within a week I had enough to cash out as one of the articles did really well. So I got my first payment in my pay pal account a few days ago, I already have a $1.49 in my account again so perhaps I will start writing there more often again.

I have heard many people say that, but when I started I did not know about writing other places so I spent a lot of time writing there, additionally I was a five star rater, so I had over a hundred articles very quickly, I also rated which gives you $3 of your payout every month then you only need to make 19 dollars to be paid every other month. Another thing is once you get over the percentage of writing scores to get a star you get prepaid for your articles, so if you have as many articles as I do and you make a star you get an additional 50 cents, if you make all 5 stars you get an additional 2.50 per article. That is where you really make money, so you need to go back so that you can make more money.

Hi ladym. I am like you. I use AC the most because that is where I am making the most money at. I write for upfronts on AC and now I am just reposting my articles to Helium for the pageviews and upfronts. It took me a while to get stars. That was my own fault, but considering I do so much better on AC it was hardly worth going to Helium. LOL

mommaj, I started out on Helium, and I also write for AC, I also do better with AC than with Helium, but with Helium, I get jobs from people who see my work, I get to enter contests, and I enjoy the topics that I can be a part of. On AC, I come up with topics, they accept them (if they accept them, which they usually do) and then I get payment, however on Helium I learned to write good enough for AC so that more of my work is chosen and I also make payout regularly so it is just as lucrative to me as AC. You have to work harder for Helium but it pays off later. I make payout whether I write or not which is not always so with AC.

Helium is one of the biggest scam on the internet. My girlfriend put a lot of time and effort on posting high quality articles on helium.com, they deleted her as she began to earn a lot of money from it. They will do the same to you as you reach payout. and you won't be able to remove your articles anymore. They will use your articles to make money, and you won't get a cent. Report this site.

I make payout on a regular basis so that is hardly the case, I never have been deleted nor have I been kicked off when I started making a lot of money, so that cant be it, nor have I heard of anyone who had. I have seen people who get kicked off and it is usually because they plagerized someones work or because they have poor grammar, but never because they produced high quality articles. I have high quality articles over 150 of them, and I get paid every month or every other month, and they have never stiffed me and always pay on time, so I dont really believe this sorry. This is someone who has been there a very long time and no problems yet.

Because when she started writing on Helium, she found out that Helium does not delete your articles till they get ready to. How do I know because I read it when I started so if it was scam that would not be in a place where I could find it. Therefore if she was booted out then it was for something she did, they just dont not pay you. Second I know there are a lot of bad grammar from the new days of helium when they were just trying to fill the pages, but as they try to clear them up they are getting rid of those that are no longer relevant to today by doing the older ones first. Because I have seen a whole lot of articles that are being deleted if they are too short (when they used to put up articles under 300 words) or that are grammatically incorrect or have some plagerism in them. However I dont know anyone but your girlfriend (since you just told me) who did not get paid.

Well good luck then. This won't change my opinion about helium . Concerning the grammar, that person who had been kicked from helium is a very good writer and it is her full time job, wanted to make spare money on helium who stole everything she writed. If helium is really not a scam like you said, why can't you delete your articles after you've been kicked off. And why does helium still show these articles which have a bad grammar??

Hello, Pastorkayte. I've been with Helium for two and a half years, and up to recently, I only made payout every 2 - 3 months. Then a friend joined, and got me organised to leapfrog my poorly performing articles and write more new stuff. By mid February, I had 3 stars, and I earned $52 from page views, upfronts and empty titles. I've earned about $180 in total this month, and I now have 4 stars.
I have about 350 articles on Helium, and I'm aiming to get it to 500 by the end of April, as if you have 5 stars and 500 articles, you won't lose any stars unless your writing score goes under 75%. At 300 articles, you have to maintain a writing score of 85% to keep all your stars.
I also post my Helium articles on AC for page views. I can't write for AC as I am not a US resident, but I'm earning a little extra from my articles.

This is the first month since I started that I may not make it just because I have been too busy with other things to turn out any articles.
