Hi Novelist_117 Why would you have to say anything to her ? Other than hi or good morning.

Hi thezone well I should say something to her coz she teaches this semester !! and ya saying those things to whom you know means being kind , and actually its a habit in our culture and traditions to say good things to people when they are sick or coming from treatment journey !! i thought of that coz she is a foreign Irish and i would like to show her our great traditions ,i do like Irish people though !! so why u are asking ?? does it seam strange to u ? no body does that in your country ??

Apologies. I took the discussion up wrong. I guess I have been working with too many smarta$$s for too long It does not seem strange to me now that I get the post. In the case you describe asking were they feeling better seems the polite thing to do

Just say" it is good to see you again, i hope you can stay healthy just like this, we need you and miss you all this time." that is it.
