What is the decent rate to re-finance the house?

United States

Right now, I am searching for a mortgage to re - finance my house, and I search online around the refinance rate is around 3.47%. While I ask my bank about it, they said the recent rate is 4.7%, much higher than I expected. Is there any channel or source I can compare the actual refinance rate? Does anyone have experience with that?

Go to Bankrate.com. They are THE best source to find out rates around the US. (I forgot to look to see where you're from. If you're from the US, Bankrate.com is the source. If you're from some other country, sorry, I can't help.)

I think the interest rate depends on how reliable you are based on your income situation, personal credibility and your collateral.Think about what you can provide to prove your sufficient and steady income, credit card record, etc. In terms of the basic rate,I think you may probably check the central bank's rate on their official website.
