Yes, to a certain, extent. However, I make a serious effort every day to get outdoors and do something unrelated to the computer. Today I went bowling in the morning and then shopping ate lunch, and then played cards with some neighborhood in the clubhouse. I didn't even log on to my computer until after 7:30 p.m.

you are right..I have also the same feelings....
we are spending our days on Internet and Television...& night we observe that we are living in virtual world...
So I never use T.V and Computer on Saturday And Sunday and pass my time with friends and family..It charges my to work for next five days on T.V and PC

Hmmm... I do indeed spend fare bit of time online but I never thought of myself as living in the virtual world actually. Probably because I don't try to make friends online...? I do chat or email my real-life friends online as well, but I actually spend more time seeing each other so that doesn't make me feel as so I'm in a virtual world.
I know a good explanation for it - I don't "get into" Internet, I only "use" it like a tool. Just like phone, microwave, or a pen even, and unlike house or a car where you can get inside and experience it.
That's probably why I never felt like living in a virtual world I guess.
Happy myLotting :)

Personally, I don't consider myself living in a veirtual world because I'm in tune with my world, reality around me. I consider living in a virtial world as being completely out of touch with reality. Where the internet consumes you. Where you can't disirn fact from fiction and believe everything you see beccause its online. That's not the way to live any kind of life.

I do sometimes think I live in a virtual world, I spend more time in front of the pc and world wide web than being outdoors. I have a lot of time in my hands, and I get so hooked exploring the net and doing a lot of things. I amuse myself, entertain myself, I even interact to online friends than my real friends!
But of course, I still have my limitations. I don't want to live here everyday. It just so happens I had a lot of time for now, so might as well use it here.
