Do you find yourself working on an important essay, or studying for finals one minute then all of a sudden you're on facebook?? You're trying to find the derivative of an equation for calculus and all of a sudden you wonder if anyone posted a comment on your wall. You take a quick check, then before you leave you decide to click HOME. Bad idea! You're friend just posted an album and it pops up onto your news feed. "Why not just take quick look at it?" you think. Then in that album you see someone who looks oddly familiar, but you can't remember their name. You click on the link from where your friend tagged them and you realize it's your classmate from the 8th grade who you haven't seen in forever! You then go on to friending him and.... Before you know it, it's 12 o'clock and you barely started your essay. Why is facebook so addicting!?! At one point I decided that the healthiest thing for me to do was to delete my account, but I couldn't bring myself to press the delete button. Facebook you're evil! But oh so fun :D Anyone else experience this? It can't be just me... ;)

Good luck with that "1 month of no facebook". I know it's hard but you can do it!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you :D

facebook is a good communication tool. we must not become addicted to it as we need to lead a balanced life. there are many aspects of life to fulfill and they are rewarding too like time in family life , time out with friends, developing a good career , a career advancement, travelling and the likes. we must not be too obssessed in what we do. it becomes our idols and we spend way too much time on it. yes, what about our spirutual life. we need quite time with God too.

Before I used to behave like that. Every time I am connected teh first site i would visit is FB. But lately, I noticed that became rarer each time I would be online, I would rather check my yahoo email account than be with FB. Although every time I am on FB it is a refreshing feeling seeing familiar faces posting their minds out.

LOL yes tify you're not the only one. i used to be like that on fb.. myspace before that and friendster before that. i never could delete my fb account because it is one of my main communication tools.
but after a year doing that is just too tiring. login to fb became routine and now i would spend 5 mins for quick login and check updates and logout again, do that 3 to 4 times a day.

Well... I am kinda "addicted" to Facebook, but most of the time I'm just too bored to go there. I know it sounds a bit crazy, but It's better than to be there all the time and have no time for myLot xD
Before I found myLot, I just played Mafia Wars, Farmville and others. I do still play occasionally Zynga Poker, but that's not the same thing.
Facebook can be as dangerous or more than Runescape, the mighty life sucker. But Facebook isn't nearly as dangerous as WoW (Word of Warcraft).
I for my part don't experience the problems you listed :D
