I am waiting to hear back from my application to study abroad in Trinidad and Tobago this summer :D I am so excited and anxious. This is step one to traveling the world :) and will be the first I am outside the country :) any suggestions or tips on what to take and do while abroad?

Good luck with your application to study in Trinidad and Tobago. I suggest you take paper, pens and text books there. You could take clothing suitable for a tropical country. You might wish to take some mosquito repellent. Whilst there I hope you will visit Pigeon Point. I have heard there are some stunning looking beaches on Tobago. Which subject are you planning to do?

hi veggie_mari. i'm sure you are. you sound excited and you have every reason to be one. i've not been to trinidad and tobago but what i would do in a new place could well be applied there as well. i would ask around and check the area where i live to make sure its safe. learn the currency, then, the public transport system. i would look for the nearest stall/supermarket to get my groceries, my stationery, the nearest bank and so forth. the language, the culture, places of interest, well you can take your time with all these. have a wonderful experience.
