Do you think Beckham injury is a big blow to England?

Personally, I think Beckham is only a back-up player, a substitute that will bring in a different element to England's tactic by bringing in quality crosses. However, his experience will be missed. England will loss one of their best weapon since many goals do come from his cross. What do you think? Who will be suitable in starting on the right flank now?

I came across this piece of news today in the newspaper and I think Becky must be sacked as he as become a bit old and I think there are many young ones waiting to play their international matches! Yeah, it will be a big blow but it has to be mended soon. Maybe Carragher or Hargreaves can occupy the place!

Charragher has retired from International duty (and is a full-back) and Hargreaves has not played at the top level for nearly two years... Neither of them play in the same position as Beckham, who far from being 'sacked' has been asked by Fabio Capello to accompany the team to South Africa to boost morale and give the squad the benefit of his vast experience.

Well i doubt so , i think lots of players can replace him in terms of soccer skills but not his influence yea .

He would no doubt have been used as an 'impact' player, and when you combine his crossing ability with the recent ability that Wayne Rooney has developed of scoring with his head, they would have made a formidable combination for sure. He will be sadly missed, but it does open the door for someone else, I would go along with what Alan Shearer has said, and that is that Walcott and Lennon (if he is fit) will give us speed and agility up front which Beckham was never going to be able to provide... The two of them are fairly similar players who will run at the defence and cab cause real problems - we may miss the elegant and dangerous deliveries that Beckham can provide, but these two will turn defenders inside out.. http://www.worldofbeckham.blogspot.com/

in the past it might be a big problem which can carry headache to England coach but at the moment Beckham is not as good as before ,he is old and everyone remember about him just because of his wedding with Victoria , this couple always make news on the head of every newspaper , but anyway he was a very good player .

I'm a Milan fan and I'm very sad about Beckham's injury. He played a very good game before his injury and probably Milan and England will miss him for his precise crosses and his pretty good tactical attitude. Fortunately Milan has Seedorf now... and also Capello will find a good substitute for Beckham.
