hello! I have never trust the government, but I have also never worked so that's why i can't really say whom/which i trusted more, but when I surely don't trust the government then I should trust the business :)

You seem to be confused, if you never worked in your life , what did you do , perhaps study etc, Government is a must and all people in the world have to some way or other depend on their country's government. Let me know if i am right.

A very interesting question and the fact is that this comes down to choosing the less of two evils. Business tends to step on the little guy a lot of the time and thus only looks out for their best interests. At the same time, it is not like the government does much better. There are many politicians that are out for their own agenda and anyone who is not part of that agenda will suffer the consequences to be sure.
So how of the two, who do I trust? Well to put it simply neither but I think this comes to who I distrust the least. I would have to say that business just tends to beat government. Government has true power to really cause havoc while as far as I am concerned, business only pops up as a slight annoyance to vex me every now and again. So the winner of this by the slightest margin is business. Ever so slightly, as in just they are barely more worthy of trust.

Thanks for the response , and standing up to the point that you trust business rather than the government, but did you ever think that your entire life, from birth you have depended on the government in one way or the other.
Well besides the point that both are evil organisations, A business can always become bankrupt, but a Government takes precautionary measures to ensure that the country does not go broke...Just a little thought

If you had asked me twenty-five years ago I would have said I trust both Business and Government. However, now being fifty-three years old I have learned to not trust anyone. Business is out for the almighty dollar. Business is about how they can screw their employees over. Business is all for the taking and they don't care who they take down while doing it. Government is run about the same way to me. They only care about themselves and could care less about the American People. We are getting taken by the Government each and everyday. Did you know they spent 85 million dollars to send letters out reminding us that we will be getting our 2010 Census form in the mail. Could you imagine 85 million dollars that could have went to something so much more important. Especially at this time with the economy the way it is, they went off and wasted 85 million dollars.

Hey you forgot how much the swearing in ceremony for the President cost, but you know a President has to be treated like a President. Governments are much more experienced when it comes to handling crisis, look at it this way , if the government did not make necessary steps to enhance labor in the US, Most of the jobs will be outsourced.

It's really depend on which country is you want to talking about. A country with strong economics fundamental and good governance system will be trusted by the citizens. But if a corrupt government will be trash out. This is the fact that almost in every countries, people don't like their government. Business and government actually is having a same essence, which is governance. But running a business we can get the real profit for ourselves and everything we do is for our business. But in government, the business is for the country. A selfish government will be thrown out by the time. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I Feel Government in any country is better, if we all believe business then we are all slaves.
