What helps you when you're waiting on God & when things don't make sense?

I read the book of Job chapter nine where Job recognizes the the chasm that exists between him and God: "“For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him, that we should come to trial together.” At Job 16:19. Job again expresses his desire for a witness, and then declares, “my eyes pour out tears to God, that he would maintain the right of a man with God”. These verses bring comfort to me.

hello artsyfartsygal, i read your lot and i say dont give up on God and dont quit. cling on to Him as He is the anchor of our soul in the good time and bad times, we praise and worship Him. Dont be discouraged and dont give up hope as God is our hope. God is our hope.carry on working hard and as God declares in Genesis Chapter 8 Verse 22 ;'as long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease'. And in Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3 Verse 1: 'there is a time for everything, and a season for every avtivity under heaven'. God will help you in His time. 'Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who ask receives. Everyone who seeks, finds.And to everyone who knocks the door will be opened. Matthews 7 : 7-8.Our prayers do not come back void. so we get down on our kness and pray earnestly to HIM, our Father GOD and He hears us from heaven. we keep quite after prayers and listen to His voice. we will hear Him. trust and obey Him.

i don`t think anything will truly make sense when your wait on him, so i feel it would be best not to wait on him and let him come when he comes, see while your setting around waitin on him you need to be tring to find out away to go back with him to where ever his is go or coming from cause if your not living right and you aren`t doing the things he want you to do then you might be the one thats left alone by your self. thats how i feel about things.

While waiting on the Lord and things don't make sense, I just pray, pray for guidance and just accept whatever comes because I know God is with me. If no helps come, then I give all of my problems to God and then let it go and continue to trust God by faith for the solutions to my problems.
