Hi everyone!
When I was a kid, the Chips Ahoy Stripes was my favorite among all Chips Ahoy cookies. Some years later, it just disappeared. I would love to see and taste it again someday but I understand Nabisco no longer produces it, I just don't know why. It's a very tasty cookie and I'm pretty sure many of the kids today would love it. Is it actually hard to manufacture compared to the other cookies?
So, does anyone know what happened to the legendary Chips Ahoy Stripes? If you haven't heard of it, here's a site with a picture of that cookie: http://www.dorkdimension.com/2009/04/comic-ad-of-week-22-striped-chips-ahoy.html
Thanks for reading and have a great day!

I miss those cookies too!
But I think there another cookie company who does make them and they call it
CHIPS DELIGHT MARBLE STRIPES.

Thanks for your response Yup, that is a similar cookie variant from Chips Delight. It's really tasty but it does not come close to Chips Ahoy Stripes.

Hello enslinporter,
Chips ahoy is one of my favorite. And I heard of Chips Ahoy Strips, I think I was able to taste it before especially if my brother would bring home a pack of that.I didn't notice that the stripes is no longer available in the market until I read your discussion. Maybe, the sale of the variant is not good that's why they prefer manufacturing the original variant.
Happy mylotting

Yup, it's been out of the market for years. It really tastes great and I hope they would bring it back someday. It's something kids today missed I think.

Thanks! It sure was a very delicious variation of Chips Ahoy. Too bad they no longer sell it. The other Chips Ahoy cookies are really tasty too. Hahaha, yes, it really is hard to stop eating them once we start. That reminds me, should I buy one tomorrow when we get to the supermarket?

Yes, it trule is sad when the products we like just vanish ...especially food products that really taste good.
