I got a skein free from joining one of the yarn companies on FB. Now what do I do w/ one skein? Looking for some ideas as I haven't seen this particular line here that I'm aware of anyways.

You could probably make a hat or a pair of wristwarmers.

Hi Snugglebunnies, I am not familiar with that kind of thread that you are going to use. but if it only one maybe you can make some headbands or a belt. i am into crocheting also and with a ball of canon thread i can make several headbands or two belts. it depends on the design that you are going to use or do.

I haven't ever done a project that only required one skein of yarn because I tend to go with the much larger projects like afghans and such. However, my daughter's old babysitter was an avid crocheter and she liked to make hats for the children that she baby sat. I wish I knew where Kathryn's was right now because I would take a picture of it so that you could see what it looks like, but I think it is at my mother's house. I'm pretty sure that she found the instructions for it online.

First of all, what size skein of yarn? An 8oz skein will do more than a 1 oz.... Baby caps, baby booties, slippers, slim scarf, belt, child's doll blankets, I belong to an eList for crochet lovers & each day she sends out links to various online sources. If you want to join & see what she's offering, send an email to TheCrochetClub-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
