I don't often see most men cry. When they do, I know that they must really be hurting. I worked at a vet clinic and we had a guy come in to put his dog to sleep because the dog was really sick and old. He started crying (silently) when we did it, then I started crying because he was crying! I had to excuse myself to go to the back of the clinic to dry my eyes. Real men cry.

Just last night I was watching 'The Biggest Loser' and saw one man cry because his former team mate lost a few pounds and was below 300 lbs. I guess it was the first time he was below 300 since high school. His former team mate who was now on the other team was so proud of him. He had tears in his eyes while professing his love and pride for him.

I think man just like us woman do have their emotions as well, but they have to protent that they are stronger than the woman and they don't usually cry in front women. They do cry among their mates/close friends/families sometimes when they come down with these huge emotion which they cannot control anymore. I don't think that make them weak anything, they are human just like us. If they don't have any emotions then I'll wonder what are they made of. :)

the last time that i see my partner cried was 1 year ago. actually he is a man that is so emotional. he came back after a year work abroad and he is spending his vacation. we are arguing about my trust to him, i accused him that he is cheating on me. he said while crying that why am i acting like that he works there and resist all the homesick that he feel and he was always thinking of me to see me if he got home. i see the tears that come from him and could not stop from. so i embrace him to stop.

I have seen men cry over a lot of things. They are not that different from us, even if they pretend to be. My best friend really cried his eyes out the day we had to say goodbye. But that is one thing i don't want to talk about. I am sure the men here will be more helpfull. TATA.

Oh we men do cry! I mean, we're also humans right? And we too have feelings etc. We also cry... most of the times, in perfect solitude.
I mostly cry when I miss my close buddies, the old college friends and the wonderful days that we spent together. I cry when I remember how my ex cheated, exploited and in short, fooled me... I cry when I feel real lonely... I cry when I miss my fiancee, who is not with me these days, whom I have not seen for an year and have no chance to see her again for a few more months... I cry!!!
The only thing is I choose to cry in solitude.. I stay alone and I shed silent tears in my rooms, when all around is silent and there's no one to watch me. I let my grief out of my heart and let the tears flow.. Men also cry, don't make a mistake about it... :)

Yes my cute friend cloud..I would not be ashamed to tell the truth but I did that long before ago but not in front of a woman though it was all about love affair. I cried at myself alone feeling sorry for my self but it was all gone the following day after..
For me it would not be a demerit of a man's reputation if a man cries. It doesn't mean a strong man would never cry...
Thanks...

I'm not proud to say this but i make my partner cry so many time especially when we fight over something that he usually started. I think he is too emotional when it comes to me...being a stubborn person i usually wants to win especially when i know i'm right. but sometime his male ego is just too high that he wants me to admit that i'm wrong and he is right. Our fight always revolves around me not replying his texts or calling him, well you see i work in a rural school and the phone reception is very bad. So i can only text and call him after coming home from school; i guess he is just scared that i might look for someone else and leaves him. I don't feel that his tears as a sign of weakness but something sincere from his heart for me.

Man cries when,he really loves a women, and she arrives at the verge of leaving him!telling him that when I was with you you didnt bother, and never cared for me!and the man happiness was only that she use to wait for him, they use to love and kiss each other for even no reasons, the bond of complete love, and when it breaks, then man cries, tears comes out in front of the lover only!when she is leaving him!then man surrender ones ego in front of her beloved!and pleads her not to go from his life!if he had really loved her!otherwise man is arrogant, practical and not emotional!is true!

This would be interesting topic, my boyfriend cried in front of me in a lot of instances. One instance is that after our making love, we discuss about me getting pregnant. He told me that once I gets pregnant I need to come with him. I told him that if i gets pregnant i dont want to give birth abroad or outside the Philippines. I want to stay here in the Philippines and I will not allow him to see our child. I told him that (i was joking) but my eyes were so firm with it. He just crawled on the other side and silently cry. I never thought he would cry like that, he just cried so silently. I asked him, if he is going to leave me if i choose to be give birth in the Philippines? He told me NO,
Thats the instance I made my boyfriend cried. Its the most memorable situation we have when he was still here. Unfortunately, I didn't get pregnant.

I guess it wont kill to say that i have cried before, I am 15 and certain things get to me. It is actually good if a man cries, because it means they do have feelings and are not emotionless. I last cried because I heard my mom crying before I got off the phone with her because she was going to stay at my grandma's house until my dad could quit yelling at her. It was not abuse or anything, he just has a corncob up his butt all the time. But she called to tell me and i told her I would call her later, and I said goodbye and she starts bawling. Now it is my mom and she does not cry to often, but i don't know, it just upset me. I would say it is good that I cried I mean, I do have feeling for things and I am not careless. I have twice cried over my girlfriend, she was crying and I was being kinda a crap guy, and i was threatening to dump her. But it tore her up to see me cry, cause it is not often men do cry. Thats just my out take on this.

I have seen my husband shed a few tears every once in awhile. I just have to say one thing, that it takes a real man to cry in front of someone. Well, the one time that my husband cried, like really really cried, was when we were getting married. We were saying our vows and he was so choked up he messed up. Another time that he cried was when sometimes we have a heart to heart conversation, and he'll talk about what really is in heart and what he is truely feeling, sometimes he gets so emotional he'll start crying. I'm glad that he is that comfortable enough to start crying in front of me.

There are moments where a man cries. Some cry if they get victory in a competition, cry for a new baby, cry over a breakup,.. But even so men cry, this does not mean they are not masculine enough. Crying does not show femininity or any less masculinity, it just shows that men are human too...

My husband was present at the birth of both our daughters and he cried then, he was so proud, happy and tired.
He also had a bit of a health scare about a year ago and that made him cry. He had some sort of attack due to stress and he ended up being taken off to hospital in an ambulance. When he came home he was just so emotionally drained that the whole experience actually scarred him.
I don't think a man crying is any kind of weakness, it just shows that a man can be emotional too and like us women, they need to let go too sometimes.

I don't cry because of physical pain, breaking up and such, or the drama you see on movies, I can count the times I remember crying on the fingers and one time it was because of my mom, when she was beaten by a robber, and I wasn't there to defend her because instead of going with her shopping, I chose to go with my friends, I felt so useless, so bad of myself, she scarified so much for me and I couldn't even protect her, worse feeling I ever had.
And one time when I was little, there was a class mate who was always making fun of me and embarrassing me in front of the class, until one time I started to beat him up and I didn't stopped even after he was down, I was full of rage and couldn't control myself, I felt like hitting my worst enemy, and kids were yelling and cheering, like evil was in them, until they seen him not moving, I ran home and he ended up in hospital with a broken hand and broken nose, and I got away with it, him and the kids didn't said anything, and while he was in the hospital I was in my house crying, I felt like a monster, couldn't stand myself for what I've done, my clothes had so much blood on them, I felt like a murderer, and after I heard I heard he didn't said anything, I felt even more worse, and ever since then I've ignored any insults people trow at me.
