Me, my boyfriend and his friends are planning for a vacation in Mindoro by next month. I haven't filed my vacation leave forms yet but I've already told my boss and hopefully my vacation leaves got approved. I haven't been there and it would be great to visit it for the first time with my boyfriend.

Cool! We went mountain climbing in Mindoro before and watched the Moriones Festival :) It'll be fun! But the heat of the sun is really crazy so just bring water all the time lol

Lol, yeah, don't forget to put on sun block or tanning lotion :) Sun burn can be really painful.

It is spring at the moment so it will be my long awaited summer next and I am so very excited about that. I hope that the weather will be hot and sunny. It will be that way in the Philippines but in my home country it might be cool and dull. I will be traveling to Vancouver in Canada in June until July. I shall be taking my disabled toddler son and baby daughter. I hope that you will have a very enjoyable time this summer.

Good luck with your dilemma :) Why not learn French in America? Hit 2 birds with one stone. Then by the time that you're already good with the language, pay a visit to France :)

I'll be working on summer months probably but I got to have a vacation for holidays since there's a holy week coming this April. We will be off to the province for that day and be back again after 3 days. No plans of summer outings yet since it still depends on the schedule but I'm very free on those holy days.

I don't have plans yet. All i know is that i still have a regular job during that time and i have to look out about my business. There is no possibility of long rest, but only on holy week. I don't have plans of going out on Holy Week too. I think i will be staying at home and sleeping, reading. My life is boring during holyweek. The only difference is when there is someone texting me and wants to text for whole day.

I remember my mom used to tell me to stay at home and repent during holy week. Well, yeah, sometimes it's true. People use the holy week to enjoy but we should not forget it's real meaning :) So don't worry about that lol

Wow! Good for you :) You're going to the summer capital of the Philippines. I love the weather there. It's really different from what we have here in Manila. SM doesn't even need an air condition haha! I love Baguio's Ube Jam from Good Shepherd.

Hi friend,
It seems that this year all my plans have changed. I don´t know if any of my planned ideas will be able to stand.
In my country we are leaving behind Summer. But I had planned (and booked) a week in my country´s South. It is beautiful with great snow capped volcanoes, beautiful lakes and the remmans of antique forests.
But first I had to have a shoulder surgery I was not expecting. And 3 days before my surgery was to take place, we had the 2nd worst earthquake in our country. The epicentre is very near my selected vacation place. Surgery was postponed a week and I still don´t know if the place I was going to is reachable.
We can make plans, but the last word is not ours.

What happened to your shoulder? Get well soon :) Earthquakes have been more often this past few months, even here in my country. We have to be careful. Anyway, hope your plans will push through soon :)

So far after working for more than a decade I never really think about summer I used to think about when I was still a student. Well since you just graduated I think enjoy every bit of it because when you start working summer would just become one of the ordinary days in your life.

Yes, that's one of the things I don't want to let go... losing my summer break. But I guess, I have to deal with it because it's part of the real world.
